Its a place of Geostrategic importance because its in the middle if 3 empires, India, China and Russia and its the location from which Russian empires in the past have tried to gain access to the arabian sea, since Russia does not have an all weather port.
The British took control of this area in the early 1800s then the Russian empire in late 1800s. The Russians came back in 1979 amd now its the Americans. This has nothing to do with Pakistan. If US wanted to take Pakistan then they can easily do it with their military. Read the book called great game to get a better understanding of geostrategic importance of Afghanistan. Many coties in the region like Abbotabad are named after western fogures who faught in this game for Afghanistan. Also Pakistan does support Afghan taliban. Afghan taliban is not declared terrorist organization even by US.

Baluchistan was a province of Afghanistan before the British took over. And you cant get to Baluchistan if you don't have Afghanistan. I can tell that history or geography is not one of your interests. Don't forget that one of the main reasons that Pakistan armed and trained Mujahideen was the fear of our establishment that the Soviet Union wants to take Baluchistan and there is no way for us to defend that large and sparsely populated land conventionally.

Read about the Heartlands and the Rimlands hypothesis. The heartland is a resource rich region but its practically landlocked as there is no all weather port. Sometimes the mongols ruled it, sometimes the Soviets, but if they get access to the sea then no country will be able to stand up to them. This is why Crimea and Afghanistan have been important locations for western countries to control.

Pakistan has no system that can deliver nukes to USA, we do not have intercontinental ballistic missiles or submarine launched missiles. And even if we did, USA defence system is made to handle countries with 8000+ nukes 100 times more powerful than Pakistan. They can handle 100 nukes.

Americans control every major city in Afghanistan, whatever the Taliban hold is what US considers of insignificant importance. Just like Vietnam, US military has won on the ground, the politicians are losing.

If US wanted to dismember Pakistan they could have done it long time ago. They can easily take Karachi and Baluchistan from the coast and cut you off from the rest of the world with just one aircraft carrier group. Don't forget that the British captured this territory including 4-5 other countries in Indian Subcontinent with ease. The US military is much more powerful compared to the British was in relation to India/Pakistan. I think you have been fed too much Zaid Hamid non-sense, its time you come back to this planet.

You cannot make much use out of Afghanistan without the PAKISTANI Balouchistan area.

I dont know why your delving into historical details when the fact remains that several empires have fought and gone down trying to control this area.

Afghanistan is nothing, it is not developed, it has no economy and certainly no water port. It is an easy place to occupy and further plan from.

Even a person with an elementary knowledge in geopolitics knows this. Only an idiot would conclude that the US and other countries spent TRILLIONS of dollars in afghanistan and that it had nothing to do with Pakistan.

Nothing you say makes sense and you know iit. You keep going round and round in circles to the same things that I have already answered.

100,000 Pakistanis dead is the sideeffect of Pakistan's illicit relationship with the US during Soviet Afghan war in which they gave birth to the Mujahideen who later led to Taliban. One of reason being Zias fear of the Soviet Union taking Balochistan to get access to the sea.
