Just looking at the media/news/tv websites - here is my observation.

Dunya news - does mention PTI Dhurna with a permanent link
SAMAA TV - NOTHING - no mention
Arynews - mentions in a 3rd page, main page headlines inlcude who is attending the uk royal wedding.
GEO Tv - surprisingly has a link on the news on the first page
DAWN - has a main link on the mian page (so far)
WAQT NEWS - does report.

I think all these ebsite should have permanent links supporting this protest rather than just reporting a one liner.

USA have spent about 50 Million US$ in Pakistani media to create softer image about US. even despite of so much Terrorism and Drone Attacks in Pakistan......


Plus not only USA, Nawaz Shareef is spending a hell of Money in media because Imran can give them tough time in Punjab . If PML(N) can't get enough seats in Punjab, where would they take seats then?

I think you all are being unfair to the media. The dharna was the number one news headlines yesterday on almost every news channel. Even today it is the second or third headlines on the networks. Instead of insulting the media you should all be working for the PTI media cell which Im sorry to say is not doing its job.

Even now the dharna is the being shown in dunya and Waqt news and I saw excellent coverage of it on geo

If MQM's JALSI can get LIVE coverage on EVERY news channel simultaneously then we are not being unfair when we ask same amount of coverage for an event such as this.
While MQM's JALSI was solely for politics and to 'launch' itself in Punjab, this dharna is for a national issue on which all parties agree in principle including MQM and PMLN, but they did not join due to unknown reasons.
Stop trying to malign PTI media cell, it has been collecting the shreds from the channels and uploading them as fast as possible. The total coverage from yesterday of all channels combined was almost 14 minutes, i bet if you combine all coverage of MQM's JALSI it will be hours, not minutes. Everyone knows MQM gets the most coverage, even a press conference gets LIVE coverage on all channels. Tell me, does MQM pay media millions for coverage? Or is it because of their terrorist cell that forces media?

Yesterday's coverage was poor, today's coverage was a lot better. Media needs to be balanced if it wants to call itself 'free'.
