This ethnic bias is utter nonsense. I am from Karachi, and my heart goes out to Wasim Akram and his family in this trying moments. From the bottom of my heart I feel sorrow for their great loss. May Allah rest her soul in peace and give her place in Janatul Firdos. Ameen.

I feel sorry for Wasim's loss and may Allah bless his wife with Janat Ul Firdous. This interview was taken when his wife was alive and healthy, apart from his loss listen to the interview once again and see how fit my comment is. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that Javed Miandad was one of the finest cricketer and among the best batsmen of all times so if I am a fan of Jawed Mianad... there is nothing wrong about it especially when Viv Richard said he is a big fan of Jawed Miandad, Viv Richard was not from Karachi :lol:

Don't forget he failed to be selected in his college Cricket team which shows how good he was at that time.

Some idiot on this board tried to paint this as a Karachi/Lahore or Sindh/Punjab picture and all other idiots followed him with closed eyes this show how blind people are to support someone based on ethnicity this is exactly what Zia Ul Haq did to this country.

Dear Syd;
When ever that interview was recorded & what ever he said in that interview, this is not the right time to discuss that.
No body is perfect..!!
This is the time to pray for Late Mrs Wasim, her two sons and Wasim Akram. He needs prays from everybody.
So please don't do this. That's what we all said in reply to your earlier post.
It has nothing to do with Karachi, Lahore, Sindh or Punjab..!
Just an example; Indian Govt gave him permission to land, when she was serious, allow him & everybody else to stay with Temporary Visa, provided him what ever was required in that emergency time. They could have said easily that He is from Pakistan, don't let him IN or help him.!
I hope you understand.
Say what ever you want to say later, but at some other time. Not Now..!!
