Nigeria to become first JF-17 export operator

Nigeria's plans to acquire three CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder multirole fighters in 2016, Nigeria's Punch newspaper reported on 6 January.
Citing a leaked copy of the budget, Punch reported that NGN5 billion (USD25 million) has been allocated for the acquisition of the three JF-17s, NGN2.06 billion for 10 PAC Super Mushshak basic trainers, and NGN11.6 for two Mi-35M helicopters.

Jointly developed by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC), the JF-17 is currently only in service with Pakistan. IHS Jane'sreported in December 2014 that Nigeria was finalising a JF-17 order, but a deal was not subsequently confirmed.

Nigeria confirmed, Sri Lanka almost confirmed (only official statement is being expected), deal with Myanmar in last stages, Argentina is seriously considering but they are more interested in block iii I suppose .

But important thing is, we don't have enough production facilities to produce for exports. Pakistan's priority is to have at least 15 squadrons to replace her aging fleet. Right now we can produce 16 to 20 planes a year. One squadron contains 16 planes . PAC is trying to increase the capacity to produce at least 25 planes so that we replace our old planes with new JFTs in 10 years.

Correction, Sorry we don't make toilets for export to countries who are aspiring to be super power. Because their super power lies in the lack of toilets like Samson's hair otherwise it will be lost.

LOL, Apparently India main apkay Airforce k pao k neche say Zameen sarak gai hai aur ap unko Gumraah kar rahay hai , k Burnol ki zarurat nai, Pakistan Free main Bech raha hai..

Lakin jab unhay pata Chalay ga, K ap ne Unhay Gumraah kiyaa hai aur Free main toh Sirf 2 4 Trainer jets dene ki offer ki thi with the condition if they buy 10 JF-17.... LOL Its like giving 10% discount on the order which is normal all over the world.:)
