The reasoning of this biased slant is simple to establish because of Talat’s affiliation with that sect of Islam which has a history of animosity and vengeance against their theological, ideological and jurisprudential opponents (The Salafi-Deobandi conglomeration of these militant Sunni groups, which also includes the Talibans).
The last section of this interview proved the speculations to some what true in media circles that pertained to the fall-out of Talat with Imran, which has spanned to some years now, on the nagging and sensitive issue of these state controlled pogroms (Yes not military operations) of the tribal Pakhtun belt of Pakistan which also happens to be in conjunction with the border of its turbulent neighbour in the western front. Talat no doubt being a high profile and objective minded journalist of Pakistan do hold some special presence in the hearts and minds of his viewers but on the issue of this so called war on terror his slant is in the favour of those civilian massacres which have been pursued with utmost devotion by the beasts of America & its allied mercenaries including the blood sucking armed forces of Pakistan.
Talat on this specific issue tends to overwhelm with his own prejudices and proclivity and has overtly expressed, at times, his disgust against these resistive forces of Taliban on either side of the border. There’s no doubt about the extremist frame of mind of these Taliban groups and recent historical accounts do suggest us to some extent about the formation of their extreme militant thinking and views to some extent.
The problem is separate here that who has given the rights to these Americans and its mercenaries to spill the blood of hundred of thousands of civilians under the pretext of targeting their nemesis and later have the audacity to shamefully term them as an eventual collateral damage of their premeditated, blind and atrocious military operations? On this specific point Talat do indeed shows his partiality which annoys me very much sometimes, despite of the fact that on other issues I more and less admire his professional competence and depth of his insight. Anyway in the end I wish Imran bhai the best and hope that he will take more active part in coming days to rally the incensed emotions of the aggrieved populace of Pakistan against the injustices of their rotten and corrupt to the core ruling (so called) elite class.
Bro abd 00 Talat Hussain is also reversely known as Shah g in his journalist and media fraternity and is indeed belongs to the Sayyed lineage of Shia faction of Islam which is also evident from his name. And Sayeen bhai I agree to your views to some extent as well but firmly believe like Imran Khan that any sort of coercive and offensive tactics cant subdue the resistance of Taliban freedom fighters unless a meaningful dialogue ensued in the future which ensures the complete pull out of the armed forces of NATO and Pakistan in this region and then to persuade the extremists to join the main stream of politics and societies of both side of the border, and later also not to utilise them andtheir services for achieving the sinister goals of these criminal establishments of local and western regions.
i can expect good only from this man
