President meets Fazlur Rehman, discuss political situation

Fazlur Rehman is expected to meet with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Chief Nawaz Sharif, today.



Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with President Asif Ali Zardari at the President House on Thursday and exchanged views on the political situation of the country .

According to sources, in the meeting between President Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, appointment for the leader of the opposition in the senate was discussed. Both the leader also discussed the new budget.

On the other hand, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be meeting with PML chief Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad. Fazlur Rehman telephoned the Nawaz Shrif and requested for a meeting.

This would be the first meeting between JUI and PML after the conflict in appointment of the opposition leader in the senate.

Nawaz, Fazal discuss APC

Nawaz Sharif said he will participate in the All Parties conference.


Chairman Kashmir Committee Maulana Fazalur Rehman called on Nawaz Sharif and discussed and invited him to All Parties Conference. Both the leaders also discussed the issue of the leader of opposition in the Senate.

The decision as to who will represent PML-N in APC will be taken later.

JUI sources said Nawaz Sharif lauded the role of Kashmir Committee. He urged the government to take Kashmir Committee into confidence over the steps taken to resolve the issue. Fazal will also meet the prime minister, speaker National Assembly and chairman Senate.

Both the leaders stuck to their stances with regard to leader of the opposition in Senate.

Because this Fake & Corrupt Assembly will not elect this CORRUPT as President. The new assembly would be far more different than current one.

Yes they are out of the assembly and they are waiting for next election. But due to fake degree holders & 44 % Bogus votes, the present fake assembly could hardly secured only 40 % (there might be more than 70 % Fake votes in 40 % ) votes. It means 60 % voters didn't trust this assembly. This assembly is the representative of only 40 % (provided that all votes were genuine)Pakistanis.
