I do sympathize with typical troll style ignorance. Most trolls have absolutely no ground level knowledge of politics and politicians and rely exclusively on whatever snippets of information they can get from google. But even a proper google search would have clearly shown Liaquat Bhatti, his brother Mehdi Hassan Bhattai and nephew Shaukat Bhatti's affiliation with PTI.

The whole Hafizabad-Pindi Bhattian knows all about the political affiliation of these Bhattis and there were even protest demonstrations by PTI Hafizabad members when Liaquat and Mehdi Hassan joined PTI. But I guess most trolls would not even know where Hafizabad is.

لاہور (نامہ نگار) پولیس نے جوہر ٹان کے علاقہ میں سابق ممبر قومی اسمبلی لیاقت عباس بھٹی کے گھر چھاپہ مار کر زنجیروں میں جکڑی 16 سالہ گھریلو ملازمہ اور اسکے کمسن بھائی کو بازیاب کرا لیا ہے جبکہ لیاقت عباس بھٹی اور اس کے ڈرائیور واجد کو گرفتار کر کے تھانے میں بند کر دیا ہے۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق شیخوپورہ کے علاقہ نورشاہ کے رہائشی عاشق کی 16 سالہ بیٹی شاہدرہ عاشق جوہر ٹان کے علاقہ میں سابق ایم این اے اور سابق وفاقی وزیر لیاقت عباس بھٹی کے گھر میں ملازمہ تھے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق لڑکی وہاں کام کرنے پر رضامند نہیں تھی جس وجہ سے وہ بھاگ کر اپنے گھر نورپور چلی جاتی تھی، جسے بااثر سابق ایم این اے واپس اپنے گھر لے آتا تھا۔ لڑکی کے گھر سے دو تین دفعہ بھاگ جانے پر گھر والے اور ان کے دیگر ملازم رات کو اسے کمرے میں زنجیروں سے جکڑ کر بند کر دیتے تھے۔ اطلاع ملنے پر گذشتہ روز پولیس نے لیاقت عباس بھٹی کے گھر چھاپہ مارا اور سرونٹ کوارٹر میں زنجیروں میں جکڑی شاہدہ اور اسکے کمسن بھائی کو بازیاب کرا لیا ہے۔ پولیس نے لڑکی کے باپ عاشق کی درخواست پر مقدمہ درج کر کے لیاقت عباس بھٹی اور اس کے ڈرائیور واجد کو گرفتار کر کے حوالات میں بند کر دیا ہے۔ لڑکی شاہدرہ کے مطابق وہ یہاں کام نہیں کرنا چاہتی تھی، یہ لوگ مجھے مارتے اور روٹی بھی نہیں دیتے تھے۔ میرے بھائی کے ساتھ بھی ایسا ہی سلوک ہوتا ہے۔ میں بھاگ کر اپنے گھر جاتی تو میرے والدین زبردستی مجھے ان کے گھر واپس بھیج دیتے تھے۔ شاہدہ نے بتایا کہ میرے گھر والوں نے لیاقت عباس بھٹی سے چار لاکھ روپے رقم لے رکھی تھی جس وجہ سے میرے گھر والے مجھے زبردستی واپس بھیج دیتے جس کے بعد یہ لوگ سارا دن مجھ سے کام کراتے اور رات کو زنجیروں سے باندھ دیتے۔ شاہدہ نے کہا کہ میرا بھائی جیل میں بند تھا جسے چھڑوانے کے لئے میرے گھر والوں نے ان سے چار لاکھ روپے رقم لی تھی۔دریں اثناءسابق لیاقت عباس بھٹی کی قید سے دوسری بن بھی بازیاب ہوگئی۔ زبیدہ کی دوسری بہن شاہدہ بی بی کو بھی پولیس نے لیاقت کے گھر سے بازیاب کرالیا جسے گھر میں زبردستی رکھا گیا تھا۔ یاد رہے لیاقت عباس بھٹی آج کل تحریک انصاف میں ہیں۔

جب اس کو پی ٹی آئی میں لیا تھا تو اس دن پی ٹی آئی والوں کی عقل کیا گھاس چرنے گئی ہوئی تھی

پنڈی بھٹیاں میں کس کو نہیں پتا کہ لیاقت بھٹی اور اسکے قریبی رشتہ داروں کی کیا شہرت ہے

خان صاحب بھی اسی سیاست کے پیرو کار ھو گئے ہیں جس کے خلاف وہ جد و جہد کی باتیں کرتے تھے

Actually most 'real' PTIans know politics pretty well.

It is the trolls who have absolutely no knowledge of ground level politics but still feel compelled to barge in with wrong information on issues they know absolutely nothing about.

You lost it two pages back. The fact remains that the 'elites' you 'despised' were members of PTI, how the 'idealists' tolerated such genuine 'realists' is something to ponder upon.

We don't follow any party blindly. We will be the first one to criticise if it is PTI.


BTW by despise it was meant to be Status Quo, constituency politics, police/patwari system, civilian dictatorships, and FAMILY mafia that are disguised as political parties.

That's why we consider ourselves as "idealists" as we believe in a sea-change in our political culture and

avoid politically expedient decisions that are great in the short term but harmful in the long haul (for example inclusion of above mentioned rascal in the party).

HAFIZABAD: Former Federal Minister & MNA-elect from NA-103 Ch. Liaqat Abbas Bhatti and MPA-elect Syed Shoaib Shah Nawaz from PP-107 have unconditionally joined Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N).
Led by Ch. Mehdi Hassan Bhatti group leader of independent candidates of Hafizabad, Liaqat Abbas Bhatti called on Mian Shahbaz Sharif at his Model Town last night.
The meeting was attended among others by Pirzada Latif-ur-Rehman, Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Capt. (R) Safdar and Qamar Chohan in friendly atmosphere. Mian Shahbaz Sharif embraced Ch. Mehdi Hassan Bhatti and welcomed him in his old party after the lapse 22 years. Mian Shahbaz Sharif also reminded Ch. Mehdi Bhatti that they had very cordial relations but due to differences cropped up by Mian Azhar they parted ways. He hoped that PML-N would be strengthened further in the district. Later, Mian Shahbaz Sharif hosted dinner for the guests. Ch. Mehdi Hassan Bhatti has assured him that he and his group would prove and asset to the PML-N.
Later, while talking to this scribe Ch. Liaqat Abbas Bhatti who was elected as MNA from NA-103 for the third consecutive term in this election and Ch. Mehdi Hassan Bhatti said that during electioneering they had told their electorates that after winning the election they would joined PML-N and we have made this decision in the larger interest of masses and the country after consultation with their supporters.
Ch. Liaqat Abbas Bhatti assured that he would ensure completion of all incomplete on-going projects in the area.

Father of AC Income Tax passes away: Muhammad Yaqoob (65) father of Assistant Commissioner Income Tax died here after protracted illness today. Ch. Sardar Ali (70) father of Sarfraz Ali, a senior advocate, Shafqat Ali Javed & Muhammad Shafique, local artists died here today. They were laid to rest in the Railway Road graveyard today. Their funeral was attended by large number of citizens, lawyers, journalists and elite of the town.
Married woman abducted: A young married woman was abducted by two accused from Dhunni village. According to police sources, Shazia w/o Muhammad Akhtar was alone in her house when two accused Muhammad Aslam and Muhammad Akram of Qila Didar Singh intruded into her house and allegedly forcibly abducted her. The motive of the offence could not be ascertained. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
