PTI finalises plan to block NATO supply

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has finalised plan to block Nato supply to US troops in Afghanistan.


Party workers would also put hurdles in the way of Nato supplies in Karachi and other cities of the country.


Provincial police and FC have been ordered not to interrupt with the party workers movement regarding halting Nato supplies.



PTI chairman Imran Khan would also pay visit to Peshawar on November 20 and lead the campaign likely to be launched on the same day.



The federal government or US establishment has not expressed their reaction regarding their strategy to cope with the challenge announced by Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf.

We support KP government on this.:) All the best KP government. Although we would have loved if the Central government had taken this decision or atleast put some pressure on the US to not do the spoilers work for Pakistan during the negotiations.

Well, they have already stocked enough to last for the supply route blockade period. This I think was something IK did mistakenly that he gave them a deadline of approximately 18 to 20 days, in which they have moved a lot of their stuff to Afghanistan. On contrary, US has also initiated peace talks with Iran and it looks like that this time they are working to reach up to a conclusive decision on lifting bans from Iran. In that case, Iran will be more than happy to allow NATO supplies to pass through Iran to Afghanistan. Even if that is not working, then at least Iran can watch over the US interest in Baluchistan because if NATO supply line is blocked in KPK, the alternate route is from Baluchistan and these days, the situation in Baluchistan is also quite volatile but Iran can use its influence in that area to provide a safe passageway to NATO supplies.

Now Mota Nawaja should a grow a pair and stop the route through Balouchistan!
Enough of these yankee's bloody been killing Pakistani's for fun for the last 10

US does not seem to concerned over the coming blockage. Could as the above poster says that they have saved enough during the 20 day window PTI provided them. The Iran factor also comes in but I don't know if US/Iran relations are that good that they'd allow supplies to resume from there.

I am totally opposed to the notion of blocking the nato supply line this will harm our national Interests. Pakistan must have strong relationship with US, this is in our long term interests.

Furthermore, they should not block supply line over the death of Hakim Mullah Masoor.
