Here's a highlight of Ishaq Dar's budget drawbacks;
1- No tax on Real estates, properties(Let's say you buy a plot for 5 lac two years later you sell it for 1crore and 5 lac, you earn 1 crore profit, absolutely no tax).
2- No tax on stock exchange(you earn million and billions from stock and you pay zero tax)
3- No tax on those 32 lac people of whome NADRA has all the records that they have not filed any tax return and they own heavy businesses and if you send them a notice of around 1 lac as a starter you will be able able to get around 320 billion as a start for the first year.
4- Increasing individual tax(from 20% to 35%) and decreasing corporation tax(35% to 30%) at the same time, hence bomb shelling the masses.
5- Increasing GST and price of common items like milk, tea bags and ghee etc.. is like you are trying to bury the poor alive.
6- No agricultural tax.
In western democracies they have capital gain tax, so if you sell something with a profit you have to pay tax let it be stocks or properties. They could have had increased the tax net and ultimately would have avoided increasing the GST and increasing the salaries. We can't expect PMLN exploring new ventures, there economic experts are so dumb that they don't even know whether GST is a direct or indirect tax. Anyway they presented this budget for business men and looters like Mian Mansha and Malik Riaz.
Please note the salaried class is around 37lac and out of which only 15 lac have filed tax returns.
