About panama case or other UK properties, I doubt she was aware of the details.
These kind of things are mostly handled by the accountants and I dont think Maryam baji gave it much thought until the trial started.
I also dont think she was directly and intentionally involved in any corruption.
However, she cant be exonerated on the basis of her ignorance.
Well, she did say on tv that she or her brothers own no property in London - this was in 2013
And then later she said she signed the trust deed in 2006....six years before she claimed that she or her brothers own no property in London.
I’m afraid the ignorance argument doesn’t work here.
If she claims she did not know before about the properties, then she lied on TV (who did she think owned them when she visited and stayed there?). If she claims she spoke the truth on TV, then she lied in court about signing the trust deed in 2006.
Either way, she’s a liar

Her crime is not lieing.
Her crime for which she is paying the price is badmash mahakma-e-zaraat ki shan mein gustakhi.
If you read the judgement, you'll see she did actually get one year for forging the trust deed - which is the same thing as lying.
Look, I get you like her, and you're not happy she is going to jail....but no need to spin the facts.

She may have lied but she is not getting penalized for that. She is being punished for speaking against mahakma-e-zaraat.
