KFC serves ‘Fried Rat’ instead of Chicken wings

KFC has been entrapped in another dirty food controversy when it served ‘Fried rat’ instead of ‘Chicken Wings’.
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) was strolled across the social media after a man in the US claimed that he found a deep fried rat in his takeaway.
Devorise Dixon, a California based professional said that he spotted ‘tail’ in a strangely shaped chicken breast and got shocked.

According to the post of Dixon appeared on Social Media, he went back to the outlet and the manager, on realizing that it was a rat, apologized to him.

The Mirror, a UK based newspaper quoted KFC officials as saying an investigation into the issue found no evidence to support the customers claims.
Moreover, The Mirror quoted a spokesperson of KFC as saying, ‘Food safety is our highest priority worldwide’.

Following the shocking incident, panic has spread on social media.
However, KFC South Africa wrote in response to one Tweet: “This post is from the U.S. and they conducted an investigation. Please rest assured that the allegations are not true.”
