If you watch the show from the start (it's on youtube), you will get a better understanding of what happened. Moulana was set up. The lady in red started the whole drama. She and the other lady ganged up on him, called him animal, and initiated the physical assault. I absolutely condemn all kind of violence regardless of man or woman but it's not hard to see why he lost it. Unfortunately, feminism was started for equality but now it's about superiority. I see this everyday.

I don't know whether you guys were listening the voices in the background when Anchor was addressing someone on video call. The quarrel started when the lady said "animal" to maulana, and maulana was repeatedly saying "you call me animal"? Then suddenly she slapped him and maulana responded the same way. Neither she should have acted like that nor maulana reacted that way.

The Maulvi should have shown restrained because of two reasons
1. He is there as representative and authentic follower of Islam. And Islam doesnt condone name calling and voilence, heck, Islam doesnt even allow anger!.
2. The women though abusive, was elderly he should have respected that.

ٹی وی پروگرام کے دوران خاتون وکیل نے کہا کہ قرآن پاک میں کہیں بھی تین طلاق کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔ اس بات پر معاملات بگڑنا شروع ہوئے اور دونوں طرف سے لفظی جنگ شروع ہوگئی۔ اسی جنگ کے دوران خاتون وکیل کی جانب سے مفتی اعجاز ارشد قاسمی کو جانور پکارنے کے عمل نے کسی بم کا کام کیا اور دونوں ہی کھڑے ہوگئے اور تو تکار کرنے لگے۔
اس سے پہلے کہ پروگرام کے دیگر شرکا یا چینل انتظامیہ دونوں تک پہنچ پاتی، خاتون نے لائیو شو کے دوران مفتی اعجاز کو تھپڑمار دیا جس کے جواب میں مولانا نے بھی خاتون پر تھپڑوں کی بارش کردی۔لائیو ٹی وی پروگرام کے دوران ہونے والے جھگڑے کے فوری بعد چینل انتظامیہ نے پولیس کو بلالیا جس نے سٹوڈیو سے ہی مفتی اعجاز ارشد قاسمی کو گرفتار کرلیا۔

Ive seen a few Indian shows with molvi guests and almost always the molvi they bring is some guy who constantly argues especially when the anchor tell them to shutup. The anchors try to provoke the molvi and it always works. If the molvis had sense they would stay quite or threaten to leave if not allowed to speak.

He was there to answer a question that is based on ISLAMIC/MUSLIM practice, he is the permanent feature of that program and appears every week answer public's question about Islamic practices or values "as per the news said"and you are saying nothing to do with ISLAM, he was acting as an ambassador/aalim he should have shown better character.
