Urdu is an Indian language.It originated in the heartland of India. Why would anybody want to hijack this fact? All these people you mentioned left their hometowns in Unified India long before Pakistan was created. They were citizens of British India . Talent always makes its way to where it gets recognised. You have lot of talent. I agree 100%, but i don't know what you are fighting about? Bollywood isn't the be all and end all. All these indians who migrated from north India to mumbai came because they wanted to follow their desire to act. And the film industry has always been in Mumbai. Where is the question of India and Pakistan coming into this. Even today Pakistani talent continues to contribute to Indian cinema. And what's wrong with that? Its very welcome. I think all the ethnic groups in our sub continent are awesome and have their own distinct culture and its great that we can still have common things to discuss nearly 64 years after partition.

Urdu to be exact is actually a Mughal language who were our ancestors too...we have plenty of Mughal culture in Pak so have every right to claim the language as our own!. You won't understand the history of Pak prior to independance but know that the subcontinent was only one under the Mughal then British period. The area known as Pakistan today was once a part of the Afghani empire hence the great similarities between us and the Afghanis...

Muhammad Ali Jinnah created Pakistan.....the Brits created India then passed it over to you people ready made thats why the name INDIA is synonymous with British rule, not Bharat or Hindustan! 2) I have no pride in Bollywood stars of Pakistani ethnicity like Dilip Kumar so you're welcome to them. However, the point is that if Urdu is an Indian language due to it being born in British India then similarly Dilip Kumar etc are indeed Pakistanis working in Indian movies due to them being born in what is today Pakistan!!
