I am sorry ! I appreciate Hashmi's long struggle for democracy but if you are not painting a colorful idealistic scenario unnecessarily, you must note that Hashmi's escape from Islamabad came at a crucial point where he was supposed to record his differences but get along with majority. He tried to undermine the just struggle at very sensitive moment. He owes an apology to democratic forces for his inability to put things in right perspective, adopt a democratic line, be courageous to offer resignation in the meeting and leave with grace. He has left under false pretext and it gives fuel to certain statements blaming him to be a mole within PTI. I define Hashmi as the biggest blunder by IK, thank God it is over now.

I think the problem is Hashmi saabs ego got a bit too inflated that when ever JH like a phupay kutni russ ke mehkay nus jandi PTI would send people to bring him back, maybe he got some kind of disillusion that without him PTI cannot function. I respect and accept his opinion as the party president but running away like a upset child every time people disagree with you is well...childish.

self-accountability is very important as well...without that you might just be united in doing something wrong...

Here's what PTI's Central Senior Vice President, Asad Umar had to say on the matter;

That is true but hashmi Sahab's past events haven't been so fruitfull either remember when he went 'naraaz' and went back to his house at Multan just due to a simple disagreement at the start of azaadi march? And MashaALLAH he did a media press conference leaking all the internal party talks, PTI sent senior committee members to him who convinced him..but this thing if done consistently can become highly irritating and shows lack of responsibility as he was the president of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaaf...Being a baghi in a corrupt regime or party is one thing but being irresponsible, disobedient is another..he left IK in the middle of a battle he should've thought this through! being self-accountable doesn't mean that you run to your house every time you dont agree with your party chairman...
