Greece Blocks aidships for Palestine-Gaza

In one of the dirtiest pro-Zionist actions, European Greece has blocked the aidships bound for Gaza Palestine to help the Palestinians and free the Gaza from illegal Israeli blockades. In view of the crude fact that US-UK recognized fascist Israel continues to use the blockades to squeeze the defenseless Palestinians, terrorize them and economically cripple them. The notorious UNSC, as usual, is silent on the issue and does not open its dirty mouth to even to condemn Israel terror operations against Turkish aid-ship activists last year, killing many innocent humanists.
Proclaiming their joint duty to defend freedom and democracy in the world, Americans and Europeans skillfully used the post-WW-II terror situation to impose an illegal Zionist regime in Mideast on Palestine lands by kicking or killing the inhabitants. By sung the western terror support, the Zionist regime continues to kill the Palestinians and expand illegally Israel territories in Palestine through proliferation of settlements to house criminal Jews and Mossad agents by employing the terrorized Palestinians on the illegal construction sites.

The ill-fated problem for the Palestinians started with the arrival of Jewish criminals in Palestine and other Arabs. Europeans deliberately kept themselves from Israel, limiting their ties only to supply of aid and arms to Israel. In recent years, however, many European nations upgraded their relations with Israeli state to assure the illegal regime of continued western support.

People of Europe support the aidships for Gaza, but their regime, vehemently pressed by Israel, opposes any assistance to Palestinians who live in Gaza Strip because they do support Israeli terrorism in their nation. Greek, which has caused problems for Euro and EU, has weakened the supposed Obama effort to get Israel freeze the illegal proliferation of settlements inside Palestine, has halted a ship bound for the Gaza Strip on Saturday and arrested its captain.

Greece wages a never ending war with neighboring Turkey and opposes Turkey's entry into EU as a legitimate member of Europe. Since relations between Israel and Turkey soured, the Greek government has exerted strong efforts to build its own ties to the Jewish state.

Greek authorities have denied permission to the aidships to leave their ports. The vessel, The Audacity of Hope, which was part of the flotilla aiming to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza, carried 36 passengers. The captain of the ship was taken into custody on charges of endangering the lives of his passengers and for leaving the port without permission.



Eight vessels were prepared to leave Greek ports on July 01 Friday when the government issued an order preventing their departure. The move caused left-wing politicians to accuse the government of caving-in to Israeli pressure. Organizers told reporters that the flotilla plans to sail on 04th July regardless of the Greek order.

In occupied Jerusalem, a Jewish government spokesman boldly denied that Israel is pressing other governments against supporting Palestinians and also said they are not responsible for sabotaging Gaza-bound ships that have developed mechanical problems in recent days.

it is an international shame that a self--proclaimed "democracy" in Europe as well as EU like Greece has misbehaved with freedom-democracy resentments of its own people. UNSC must criticize the anti-humanity trends in Europe and volunteer itself to lead the aidships to Palestine-Gaza, after all this organization has to defend all nations, especially besieged ones like Palestine and Kashmir, and not to aid the NATO invasion of sovereign nations like Libya.

I always wondered, what exactly is the Palestine issue?

Is it an Arab/Muslim issue?
If yes, then why does Egypt, Jordan and Turkey have ties with Israel.

Is it is a human rights issue?
If yes, then why don't Muslim countries improve their own human rights records?

Is it a UN resolution issue?
If yes, then why don't Arabs support the UN resolution for the Kashmir plebiscite?

Is it an occupation issue?
If yes, the why aren't Arabs protesting against Indian-occupied Kashmir?

My other question always was: Why can't Pakistan have ties with Israel?

My friend: Officially Pakistani regime is against Israel because Pakistani people hate Israeli fascism and its holocaust in Gaza. But unofficially Pakistani government, controlled by USA-CIA, cooperates with Israel and even helps the Mossad with fund rising against Palestine. If Pakistan refuses to help Israel the US and European terrocracies would stop aid to Pakistan and without western extra coins, the Pakistani elites who want western coins and hassle free visas to the western capitals, think Pakistan would simply die and disappear. That is the hypocrisy of a few Pakistanis who are responsible for the ill-fate of entire Pakistan and its defenseless people being killed by the latest Obama drones, possibly manufactured by terrorist Israel!. USA is destroying Islamic world , including Pakistan, on fake pretexts! Unless Pakistni nation rises up against foreign occupation and oppose their own leaders for their support for NATO-Israeli fascism, there is very little hope for Pakistanis to overcome the anti-Islamic wars and continued threats to Islam. If, however, Pakistani nation keep silent like the UNSC about NATO terror syndicates converting Islamic Pakistan into terror sanctuaries, their fate would be even harder......

The blockade is the problem

The economic pressure of the blockade has not brought about moderation in Hamas' positions, and stopping protesters en route to Gaza will not change the military balance.

Haaretz Editorial All signs indicate that the government of Israel has taken steps to receive the present Gaza flotilla in a manner much more systematic than last year's actions. Instead of relying entirely on the use of force, diplomatic measures were taken this time, and friendly states, first and foremost Greece, mobilized to help Israel and hampered the flotilla's departure. This diplomatic action proved that there are alternatives less violent than Israel's predilection for discharging armed soldiers to suppress civilian protests.
Yet the industriousness and creativity which Benjamin Netanyahu and his government have displayed merely underscore the folly that serves as the foundation of their policy. Israel removed its settlements and soldiers from the Gaza Strip six years ago, and withdrew to the Green Line in order to end its occupation of a strip of land densely populated by Palestinians. The move was taken so that they could conduct their own lives. Since then, it appears as though Israel became addicted to occupation and is unable to liberate itself, even after it declared a "pull-out." Hearing the cabinet's statement about how Israel will act "with determination" to stop the flotilla, as well as the defense minister's declaration yesterday about Israel's intention to "defend its borders," sufficed as evidence that the government still views the Gaza Strip as part of Israel, and insists on monitoring every entry and exit to and from Gaza.
The blockade, which was eased but not eliminated as a result of the fatal entanglement with the first flotilla, is unethical, and also mistaken on diplomatic grounds. Placing stiff restrictions on movement and commerce, in an embargo policy affecting one and a half million Palestinians, does not contribute anything. It only perpetuates the conflict and the hatred, and casts light on Israel as a cruel, occupying power.
The government justifies the blockade on Gaza by pointing to the hostility of Hamas, the organization which rules Gaza; Hamas, the government points out, refuses to recognize Israel and the Oslo Accords. In fact, the naval embargo is justifiable, in terms of the need to prevent the entry of heavy weaponry. Yet the economic pressure has not brought about moderation in Hamas' positions, and stopping protesters en route to Gaza will not change the military balance. Dealing with Hamas necessitates the use of diplomatic methods which might bring about change in the organization's approach; the military effort should concentrate on stopping the smuggling of arms.
Halting the second flotilla does not compensate for the total failure of Israel's policy toward Gaza.
