Well this is yet another glaring example of extreme 'INTOLERANCE" in our society. No doubt NGOs are doing good work albeit its scale and level is minimum viz-a-viz the huge population and immense problems. The "charity" was disputed on different grounds. Three Artistis/Muscians were in the show. No doubt that people inspired by their music give them donation/charity. In any way the element of "Music" cannot be taken out from all this scenario. I wonder that we Believers believe more on muscians type things to give charity/donations rather than on Almighty Allah's commandaments to make charity. Why the people will go just to listen music and then sale proceeds will be diverted into charitable projects, why then if God Fearing persons request charity then we squeeze. What is the difference that is only "Music". Allah Hoo being recited with the help of Tabla, harmonium, saxofone, flute etc is more appealing than to get up in Fajr and make Zikar in "secret and in the hope of mercy", words are the same, but the difference is of Tabla, harmonium, saxofon and the rythm which emanate from them. In fact we are the people who "nach kay yar manawanay wali sooch rakhtay hein".

I dont know why we always looking for negative things and think Islam is only a collection of rituals and dont think out of the box. How many moulvis and mullahs are doing any such thing like Imran and these people? For God sake dont make some one's good intentions in to bad. Namaz and roza is for your self if from your Namaz and roza humanity is not getting any benefits then think about your Namaz and Roza? Atleast appreciate them if you can not be a part of it.

Boy that was some hot discussion. Ibrar and Jawad, shamea both on u, u r the people who we call educated ignorants. cant freakin believe on them. Now we can atleast figure how calm and big hearted the politicians are who sit for 50 minutes in a program every next day and listen someone insulting them and giving them their point of view and they stay quite. Bravo politician. Shame on both of these two jerks.

The programme reflects some unfortunate aspects of our decaying society: mutual suspicions, leg-pulling, in-fighting, ill-founded accusations, lack of patience. After watching this programme, I think that our politicians are really not that bad as they are painted by the journalists and by some bloggers on this website.

This is not difference of opinion, this is TV rating… Kamran could have prevented all this, but he acted the oil in fire… I loved the first part, but I am disappointed with this part… I like ALL three of these guys, and I have no reason to doubt their commitment… I was not expecting this from Abrar…. Shahzad was the most civil of them all. It is sad to see them argue on personal issues. This show should have not aired, it will effect their credibility and their cause, but I am sure Kamran got his ratings… Politicians tu buhut ho gayee aab artist bhi larwa diya…

first of all, I really condemned both Ibrar and Jawad on their shameful attitude. They claim that they are working for some noble cause and bring reforms in our society but it seems that they need to bring reforms in themselves first. You both were looking like ignorant street kids.Anyway I do not say anything more about it.

But apart from fight, both were right. Jawad said charity is curse but he did not mean what Ibrar took the meaning of it. I think Jawad wanted to say that if in society people start relying on charity then this is curse so we should force our system in a way that decreases this reliance on charity in our society. So his point was that we can not change it with this social work and the only way to bring this type of change is bringing revolutionary changes in our political system.
Mr Ibrar Jawad is saying very right. Your hospital, Imran's hospital and eidhi welfare can give some group of people a little relief ( which I really acknowledge and may Allah bless you for this if you have good intentions) but this can't cure the real disease.

Ibrar was right that charity should be taken from everybody and who are we to differentiate between poor and rich and who are we to decide that who can give charity and who can not. Unconditional charity ( with no personal interests) should be accepted from everyone. I would say from even criminals, dons and big smugglers and even if you know them. you do not decide who is who and what is what, you just do your job and let Allah decide whether their money deserved to give charity or not. But I would say, you are doing dual good if you take charity from criminals because otherwise they would take more guns, drugs and these kinds of harmful things to pollute our society. So Mr Ibrar is very right in his point.

At last, I would just say ( I dont know whether it Hadith or Quranic verse)

" you lose the reward of your good deeds if you feel proud" so you should be very careful when you mention your achievements because I don't you to lose your reward. Be calm, and humble and down to earth if you want Allah's real blessing.
May God Bless you

I am very impressed by political views of Jawad Ahmed. I think he was spot on when he said you can not bring “big” change through social work, you can’t challenge status quo through NGO’s you have to organize political movement to bring the real change. I think that’s the precise reason Imran Khan formed political party despite unprecedented successes in social work.

Jawad’s frustration and Abrar’s satisfaction with charity is understandable. For local issues and limited problems charity does deliver but for global vision and needs charity/NGO is not the tool to count on.

Having said that I am great fan of all three especially Abrar ul Haq’s talent.

I have had some personal interaction with both Jawad and Abrar for a concert we wanted to arrange when we were in UET Lhr.
Abrar is definitely doing a good job with the hospital but he is a very obnoxious and 'shoda' type of guy with no humility. He thinks he has conquered the world by building the hospital. His attitude is very condescending as is evident in the show whereby he is constantly trying to play up his 'achievements' as opposed to those of Shahzad and Jawad.
Jawad on the other hand is a very down to earth kind of guy. He was nice enough to talk to us without acting like a star and even advised us by saying keh yar bhaion wala mashwera hay is kaam mein na pero, nuksaan he hoga!
Abrar had bright ideas saying I will do a show for you if you only if you help me collect chanda for the hospital.

To Abrar: Charity isnt a race you idiot! Islam ke batein tau boht kerta hay per ye bhol gya keh the holy Prophet s.a.w said when giving charity do it so one hand doesnt know what the other has given! And he is bragging openly about he personally contributes. He is a show off. Even Imran Khan doesnt brag about SKMTH like this!

To Jawad: I think you shouldnt have allowed your personal feelings towards Abrar come out like this. Its never a good idea to vent anger on a tv talk show.

In conclusion I think Abrar is a narrow minded idiot who cant think beyond his personal satisfaction and that was evident in the show.

This very foolish anchor he tried to raise the point of fighting, iam so sorry for these guys all of them are nice but i think Jawad was the one who started rude attitude, he is fine with what he is doing by himself but why he has right to disgrace, interfare, and criticise the other,he should do his business and let the other do their business, this is our National problem and impatience, we always talk about others and that is the base of every problem in our society.
Very sad they were very nice before but seem to be like stupid, corrupt politicion at last, talking all together as selling fish, Roy was very gentle with great attitude.

@BEN10,
You misunderstood my post. I wrote.

Unfortunately in between Ibrar and Jawad seems to be a "Professional jealousy". and of course lot of "Intolerance".

 I find ibrar was talking about callibre and social. While he was not talking very nice. And he did'nt realize is working on a Micro project while two other guests are working on Mega Projects. Ibrar has realy tiny little one Vision and he should better read and study all Big charity workers if they are not involved in corruption they are working for Mega project REVOLUTION ( Inqilab )... Someone should who can approach IBRAR need to tell Ibrar he should leave his EGO and continue with his greate project but also admir others.
