just remembered something...this friend of mine in Karachi blames a hospital for mistreating her nephew resulting in his death...I guess they werent able to anything about it legally speaking..so she made a video and put in on YT...If I remember correctly it had 32 views only...when you get moved by something, you express it even if doing something very small..not making excuses that nothing good will come out of it!

yes, that was the point I was going for..:)...that beauty is seen in both skin colors...however uniliver will surely run into a problem if they try to advertise fair and lovely to blacks..guess they dont have an inferiority complex that our culture promotes...

Where are pakistani women related NGOs who make women psychologically stronger? Every time a pakistani woman is called a rundee, a whore or a slut she gives up the fight and walks away because of embarrassment. Regardless whether the women are from rural or urban pakistan, whether they are uneducated or educated, they will give upon discussions, job opportunities, etc., if they are called by names. Forget about physical places even in internet chat rooms and other forums the result is the same.

Why can't these NGOs come up with programs/projects to make pakistani women psychologically stronger?.........Let me tell you why......because these programs and projects don't give the Farzana Baris of Pakistan the opportunity to have a photograph with a female victim.

LOL clearly you have not seen all of her shows. It is also possible that you have not seen the show which is being discussed here. Most importantly, during the show she did not say that the issue is out of her domain. She said that there is a lack of interest in kamran faisal's case, which is a lie. Furthermore, in the past she has arranged demonstrations which were not women specific.

In any event thanks for your input. I wish that it was as informed as it was decisive. However, since you are an indian, therefore I am not surprised.

she is free to talk on any issue, invited or on her own........doesn't mean her ngo has to take to protest on every single crime in pakistan.......
this particular murder case was anyway big time on media and network sites.....so there was no need for any protest to highlight the case as attention was already there from all quarters including supreme court......
