Please make sure you change the constitution of Pakistan that allows freedom of speech and exercise of religion... and GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! And once you've done that, show to the world whatever is left of the beautiful face of a secular Pakistan.

Try and make a distinction between cause and effect. Just because the spineless government and its structure can't ensure the safety of people, should the processions be banned? Instead, we should probably seek and elect those people into power who can enforce laws because of their good character, but that to happen, we as a nation will need to also lift our character and get out of the shells of ignorance, naivety and selfishness. Just think, the most "dangerous" province in Pakistan, KPK, didn't have a single incident like this. The first thing that would come to mind is probably better preparation and organization they had in place.

Such processions have been there for decades upon decades... and before Pakistan was such a bipolar society, they used to be an event for the entire nation and not just one sect.

For those on this forum who can think, I have a question: If household "accidental self-finger-cutting" incidents suddenly increase in society, would the society ever ask to ban oranges?

Even the most humane socities don't allow such processions they usually allow processions on main roads and thats it.What you people want to prove by taking out processions from evey nook and corner and then passing in front of the mosques that are sensitive that still yazeeds are alive and the people whom you are tagging as yazeeds they would sit quietly?

Thats the religious freedom to let other do whatever they want to do. Its between them and Allah.Its my point of view :)

یہ کسی سیاسی جماعت کا جلوس نہیں ہے جو کسی ایک شہر یا گلی سے نکلے گا اور اس کو بین کر دیا جاے . یہ عمران خان ،نواز شریف یا زرداری کی پارٹی نہیں ہے جو خود کش بمباروں کے ڈر سے چھپ جاۓ

Who is talking about "KHUDKUSH bombars" ?? what ever happened was due to suicide bombers?? No

It was due to hate speeches from both sides and who have more hate toward respectable persons of others you know very well.

point is only simple enough

show your love for your sect but do not show your hate for others on roads (and that is for every body not only shias)

تبلیغی اجتماعات ،یا دوسرے جتنے بھی اجتما عات ہیں وہ اگر مسائل نہی پیدا کرتے بلکہ اگر دیکھا جائے تو وہ ملک کی امن اور معیشت کیلئے سود مند ہیں تو انکا احترام کرنا چاہئے۔۔۔۔اور اگر وہ بھی مسائل پیدا کرنے کا سبب بن جائین تو انکو بھی بند ہونا چاہئے۔لیکن یہاں تو مذہبی اذادی کے نام پر کھلی بدمعاشی اور دھشتگردی ہورہی ہے۔۔اس کو فی لفور بند کرنا چاہئے

Men last 7 year sey lahore men reh raha hon... men ney tu Traffic jam dheka hai jab bhi ijtema hota hai... Ravi Road , Minar-e-Pakistan , Multan Road par rash rash he dheka hai men ney... Ap note kar lena next time. Men tu University jata hon aur mera rasta bhi woi hai... Islye meri apni observation hai.. phir Raiwind tu Lahore sey bahir hai..

Aur Zaida Tar Tab problem hoti hai jab Ijtemah khatam hota hai tu log wapis a rahy hoty hen...

And shia doesn't go for showing.. its Custom build with time to tell the yazid waqt that Hussainiat Zindabad , Yazeed Murdabad.. U may disagree with that.. but it can't be change in one day..

And Secondly i will be happily welcome them.. Often my sunni friends come to our mosque and i Go to their mosque for prayer Ba-Jamat . Mosque is Assosicated with Allah (swt) not with any fiqah..
And those people who are trying to use this incident to speak their hate towards Shia muslim.. Will be Not be Successful.. InShAllah...

Lol are you going to ban it ? Banning the freedom of religious practice without consent would be equivalent to imposing one's shariah on another person which is wrong.

can you explain about killings done by these shareehas? and roots of these processions?

Do your matum in your home or in your imam bara. The people need not to see or experience it. Your religion is your personal matter and do not enforce your processions on us.

So that kills the purpose of two nation theory partially because One of the reasons right wing nutters cite for the creation of Pakistan is the freedom of practising faith. With such a banning order the right wing nutters will create a big fuss. So practically this won't be feasible.

Two Nation theory was created by and created for only Sunni Muslims :D

٢٠٠٩ میں جب کراچی میں اسی طرح کا واقعہ پیش آیا تھا اور اب راولپنڈی میں اسی طرح کا - کہیں ایسا تو نہیں کہ کراچی آپریشن سے نظر ہٹنے کے لیے الطاف کے کارندوں نے کروایا ہو - کیونکہ دونوں کہ طریقہ کار ایک جیسا تھا

ban religious procession, both muharram and eid milad un nabi.. also ban loud speaker in masjid... it shud be only confined to the mosque and the mulla shud take prior permission of the text to deliver a khutba ... ye mulley jahil kee waja se sab bera kharaaab hua hai

Perhaps this is the main reason for starting this thread,,, Eid milad un Nabi is a different day celebrate by Mejority of sunny while Wahabi are not interested in it so they wants to ban both ,,,,This what we call it Bughz-e-Mouawia .

Islam aek Islaah karnay wala deen hai, aur osi ko samnay raktay huway muje laga tah k Islam agar Islah wala deen hai, toh aesa kabhi nai ho sakta tah, k namaz adha karnay(ya waqt per ada karnay) ki khatir yeh deen kisi society ka aman tabah karnay ka dars de sakta hai. اگر شیعہ فرقے کے چند شر پسند عناصر کی طرف سے نو افراد کے بہیمانہ قتل کو جواز بنا کر اس فرقے کی مذہبی رسومات پر پابندی کا اس قدر زور و شور سے مطالبہ کیا جا رہا ہے تو پھر اسی دلیل کے تحت پچاس ہزار معصوم پاکستانیوں کے قاتل طالبانی اور القاعیدی گروہوں کے فرقوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے تمام لوگوں کو تواسلام کا نام لینے کی بھی اجازت نہیں ہونی چاہیے . ان دونوں فرقوں کو بین کر دینا چاہیے. انکی املاک ضبط کر کے انکو سڑکوں پر پھینک دینا چاہیے. ان فرقوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد کو ذمیوں والے یونیفارم پہنا کر ان کی گردنوں میں پھٹی ہوئی جوتیوں کے طوق ڈال کر انکو نشان عبرت بنا دینا چاہیے:)۔ المختصر انکا وہ حشر ہونا چاہیے کہ یہ ایران میں سنیوں اور سعودی عرب میں شیعوں کی حالت زار بھی بھول جایئں
