A day earlier there was an allout war between these prisoners and the police.The jail suprintendant admitted that they recieved telephone calls of the incoming attack threats from TTP.Pencil Khattak must be disillusioned.

I heard from people on ground that usually police did nothing during these attack. Police is very demoralize and in most of cases do not resists.


Just wondering why TTP, LeJ people were kept in DIK jail after incident of Bannu Jail? I think all such people should be kept in a very heavily guarded isolated single facility e.g. Attock fort.

I put this on our beloved armed forces and some other top authorities at national level. KPK government would not be able to do jack if our intelligence agencies and armed forces are not strong enough to control mass movement of terrorist from border deep into province. We all know our police is not capable of thwarting such large scale attacks. There must be hidden hand of top army command or civilian authority in this drama along with the support of americans across the border.

Also why on earth the authorities and 'respected' judiciary decide to keep huge number of terrorist in cities that are filled with extremists and are close to FATA. This already raise suspicious if there is any intention at all to punish these terrorist. Why not keep them far away from FATA some where in eastern punjab so that it would be hard for them to run away even if they try to break through the jail.

100 armed men come up with rocket launchers, RPGS, and all the other ammunition in the world in what is supposed to be the most critical and secured areas given the nature of the place and manage to fight for like 6 hours and flee taking along with them 250 prisoners.

These intelligence agencies should be ashamed of it. KPK government is also to be blamed but not this much given that such an attack is simply out of their power to repel. Its MAINLY the job of Armed forces and agencies to secure the location and repel such humongous attack.

Why do I have a feeling this all is a drama by Army? Surely they cannot be this helpless??

Or are they??
