Army is the only status quo in Pakistan.

May have to revise your definition.

Army elites = military establishment or for simplicity, the ESTABLISHMENT

Mostly generals and ISI COMMANDOS

Status quo = Civilian elites with vested interests in current system and governance structure.

Feudals, Business and land mafias, and FAMILY parties.
Can also include corrupt judges and media houses.

You may include everyone that benefit from this rotten system including army, in status quo.
However, above definitions appear more descriptive.

Bhutto was hanged by Army, BB was exiled, Nawaz was also exiled. Their governments were overthrown time and again. When politicians never had any power how the heck did they became Status quo?

Want FAMILY stranglehold within their own parties
Want subservient institutions
Want to keep the masses illiterate
Want to enslave this whole nation
