Although I am not big fan of Gamdhi but in this debate Gamdhi is quite clear and spot on, in reply Mufti Munib ur Rehman whom i really adore did not reply satisfactory and become emotional, instead he should have justified his argument with Quran and Hadith which he could not.
In my understanding
Besides I asked few people who studied Islam, they had no answer for question which Gamdhi asked, where it is written in Quran or Sahih Hadith?
what Mufti Munib ur rehman said that its is endorsed by all muslim scholors, so do you think Fazul Rehman is islmaic scholor, or Qazi Hussain Ahmed is Islamic scholors? they are worst Pakistani muslims who have only divided muslims instead of bringing muslims togather in the boundary of brotherhood.
As far as I know in time of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, he taught us to preach with character and manners not with force.
I think Penalty should be there but Death penalty if cannot be opt out then it should be only for those who will repeats such offence. It also needs to be more transparent, so the rights of minorities don't get hurt.
This is my opinion and I could be wrong, If I am lacking some knowledge which you may have, please let me know, I will grateful to you for your help to correct another muslim brother.

- the blashmary law is required and must be present
- but the intention of this law must be focused to stop such acts by different levels of penalties and punishment but no Death stregith away, as streight death on this controversial issue does not represent PEACE Islam and also this penalty is not proved in clear words from Quran or Hadith also.
