Zia wasn't stupid. He allowed AH to come back and rejuvenate his movement. It was easy to let him rot in oblivion, but the agencies aren't that dumb.

Jamaat was also used to provide cannon fodder for Afghan war.

Both of these parties represented the middle-class, esp in urban centers of Sindh. In a way both helped dilute PPP's vote bank.

Whatever happened to Mqm AFTER its inception is another story.

I'd still vote for MQM, unless someone can present a better alternative (sorry it's not IK).

I can also fathom voting for JI, even PPP, because I know they both got grass-roots presence in Karachi. The conditions would be for JI to turn its back on Takfiris, and for PPP to go back to its ZAB days!

I would like to know from the writer of this thread as to what is percieved to be a Sind Card? Because when some one says card it sounds some special tecnique of getting what you want other than straightforward.
