Above Average Site Traffic

Dear Mods,

I hope you wouldn't mind my curiosity and would answer my question. Recently, for the last 5-10 days i am seeing above average peak traffic on this site.

The usual peak was like 4,000- 6,000 users browsing at a given instant, but for the last few days it has gone up to 9,000 and more. Have you guys lifted a lot of bans or are these new users? what did you guys do?(clap)

The reason i am asking is that a month ago, i open an experimental discussion forum and would like to learn if there are any tricks to boost web traffic.

My guess is that perhaps they have open all the bans? A laissez faire approach to running a forum is the most sucessfull- ensuring that the moderators intervene as little as possible in the direction of threads and topics. What do u think of this approach perfect?

ahmad siasi needs some tips for his badly flopped rival siasi forum

i do not have any intention to run a forum. That was an experimental under 100 dollar thing and didnt take off as i expected. I had like only 10-15 members and a daily traffic of only 25 users. I talked to a person in Pakistan he offered me that he can make an exact copy of a forum like this for only 15,000 rupees for me but i changed my mind caz bringing traffic is not easy and i do not have my lieutenants that can serve as moderators. Team kahaan say lataa? its not something that a loner like me can do !;)

10-15 members is a overstatements, it was more like 1-2....i remember few weeks back u tired promoting ur new forum and then as usual got banned.
