Hahaa ... He never had millions, he never have to hide wealth, he didn't have ill gotten wealth. More over he never evaded tax.
He wouldn't fit in any category. His flat was declared many times. In his tweet he was targeting millions/ billion holders who don't have legal sources.
Well it is exaggeration of that newspaper to accuse him of tax evasion. He never did it illegal but he is facing rotten opponents.

Exactly, now you got the gist of my argument. One should know what they are dealing with.

Please do Khan Sahab a favor and ask him to add a disclaimer for millionaires and billionaires in his tweets, next time he plans to share any of his sweeping statements.

To be honest, if I was in Khan Sahab's place I would have paid the taxes. Only time will tell. Finding loop holes in system is just one aspect, if one develops this habit they can end up finding 'legal loop holes' in every possible scenario. This takes away the credibility of a person to a certain degree. If one wishes to hold a very high moral ground, which we all should aim for.

Is it illegal to utilise law to save tax? I wouldn't mind shopping where I don't have to pay VAT. Would I prefer to buy something where I am paying VAT? My point is we all try to save taxes.

Everyone who buys property and sells or even inherited properties are subject to Capital gains tax, where did Khan Sab paid that tax?

Income he earned from County Cricket was taxed at source but you still remain responsible for Capital Gain Tax if buy a property and sell on profit. These are two different taxes and paying one does not relieve you from the other but PTI supporters are willing to buy any argument from Khan Sab.
If Tax Evasion / Tax Saving / Tax Management whichever term makes you feel comfortable was not objective, he would not use offshore route.

This Pandora box is opened now and there will be lot more revelations as value of flats was just a fraction of the purchase price of Bani Gala, where did rest of the money came from? He is shifting his position from purchase to GIFT ...
