IK himself accepted this word ‘U-turn’ from media, and then started giving explanations after explanations in different speeches and interviews . He also told the people the difference between good U-turn and bad U-turn.
Due to his limited political-vocabulary ( and never-ending Cricketing vocabulary, through he played Cricket for 21 years and has been in politics for 24 years), IK never understood that ‘U-turn’ has severe negative connotation attached to it. He should have always said that he didn’t take U-turn. He should have said that he fine-tuned or coarse-tuned his decisions depending upon the prevailing circumstances. To support his arguments, he could have quoted the famous saying that only the dead didn’t change and that the only thing which was permanent was change.
