وزیر مملکت مصدق ملک نے کہا ہے کہ سوشل میڈیا پر نیٹ فلکس سیریز کے نام پر ایک ٹریلر وائرل ہے ، اس کلپ کا نیٹ فلکس سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے۔

تفصیلات کےمطابق مصدق ملک نے یہ بات اسلام آباد میں پریس کانفرنس سےخطاب کرتے ہوئے کی اور کہا کہ نیٹ فلکس کی جانب سے بیان آگیا ہےکہ "Behind Closed Doors" نامی دستاویزی فلم سے ان کا کوئی تعلق نہیں ہےاور نا ہی یہ فلم نیٹ فلکس پر ریلیز کی جارہی ہے۔

وزیرمملکت نے کہا کہ نیٹ فلکس کی تردید کےبعد سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہےکہ اس کا تعلق کس سےہے، ایسی ویڈیوز 30، 30 لاکھ روپےمیں تیار ہوجاتی ہیں، فارن فنڈنگ کےپیسےکو ایسی ہی چیزوں اور سازشوں پر استعمال کیا جاتا ہے، اگر یہ دعویٰ غلط ہے تو پی ٹی آئی تردید کرے کہ انہوں نے ڈیوڈ فینٹن کی خدمات نہیں لیں۔

سینئر صحافی و تجزیہ کار نجم سیٹھی نے اس حوالےسے تبصرہ کرتے ہوئےکہا کہ "Behind Closed Doors" پاکستان تحریک انصاف کا نیا پراپیگنڈہ کا پینترا ہے جس میں جانتےبوجھتے اس فلم کو نیٹ فلکس سیریز بنانے کا جھوٹ بولا گیا۔

Many politicians and social media users are claiming that a documentary, about the alleged corruption of Pakistan’s former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family, is being released on Netflix and Amazon Prime soon.
A trailer of the new documentary “Behind Closed Doors” had already been released on the social media while the film-maker Michael Oswald said that arrangement had yet not been made with Netflix and Amazon Prime for the release of the documentary.
It was shared by several social media accounts, including politicians and lawmakers, who insisted that the documentary, about Pakistan Muslim League-N’s leader Nawaz Sharif and his family’s purported “corruption”, will be released on the US-based streaming service, Netflix.
The trailer was shared across social media platforms and has raked up over 258,000 views so far.
The trailer features Imran Khan, the former prime minister, and investigative journalists, namely Tom Stocks and John-Allan Namu.
Punjab Minisdter Muhammad Basharat Raja, who is also a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), tweeted the trailer with the caption: “A proud moment for the House of Sharifs!”
In the same tweet he shared an image with the text: “Netflix to release a documentary ‘Behind Close Door’ also featuring Sharif Family’s Corruption Scandals”.

An independent production company, Independent POV, has produced the documentary. Company said it produces “documentaries that explore the themes of secrecy and abuse of power.”

It has to date produced five documentaries, some of which have been self-funded.
Its latest project, Behind Closed Doors, is a “film about corruption in high places and those who enable it”, states the website, adding that “Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) are people who hold a public function and as a result present higher risks of being involved in bribery or corruption…London is the place where they buy property, where they take legal action against their critics and where they live when they fall from grace.”

KARACHI – The first visuals of ‘Behind Closed Doors’, a documentary, which revolves around alleged corruption by ruling party leaders is out and Imran Khan fans are excited for its release.
The nearly two-minute-long cinematic trailer, which appears as the prologue of a documentary, has been making the rounds on the internet.
*Behind Closed Doors *depicts how politicians used the international financial system and offshore jurisdictions to launder their ill-gotten wealth.

The documentary has been directed by Michael Oswald, produced and written by Murtaza Mehdi.
As the first glimpse was shared by several celebrities and politicians, a trend started that Netflix was releasing the documentary on corruption, however, several reports claimed that the leading streaming service has yet to confirm its release.
As the fans and supporters of ousted premier Imran Khan seemed thrilled, a cliched debate of the alleged corruption by the Sharif brothers also garnered attention.

A YouTube channel first released the trailer while the production house's site said, “Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) are people who hold a public function and as a result present higher risks of being involved in bribery or corruption. Offshore leaks have revealed repeatedly that PEPs use British finance and British offshore jurisdictions to launder their wealth, hide their wealth and re-invest it into the global financial system....London is the place where they buy property, where they take legal action against their critics and where they live when they fall from grace.”

It also mentioned that the film has contributions from PTI chief Imran Khan, journalist Arshad Sharif, John-Allan Namu, Tom Stocks, Rachel Davies Teka, Fawad Chaudry, Emin Huseynov, Shazad Akbar, Irfan Hashmi.
Former Information minister Fawad Chaudhry shared the trailer on Twitter and announced that Behind Closed Doors is “coming soon”.
