Without having to lesson impact of his story I will say that in Pakistan their have been in prepartition and post partition many families and people like him, his story remind me of my family story, the only difference is that my family layed low during Raj time thinking it to be not a time for decent families to get involved, result was poverty and no education, on the other hand those who sold out were awarded, specialy those who chose to be the ministers of Ranjit Singh in Lahore.
They are still these rich folks in Pakistan, but families like his or ours have worked hard to be where we are today and due to risqu-E-Halal we have but meager places to live but proudly and humbly have educated ouselves by working odd jobs, even as labourers at times.
So there is no dearth of families like Mr. orya, but I still take my hat off for him and wish him all the best and my family at the same time.
Time is near when all that silent majority who earned risqu-E-halal will not only be recognized but honored and awarded, not in a big way but small tokens, most important thing to do will be to bring all those who were traitors and sold Muslims out is to bring them to justice by our free judiciary but thisvmust not be done by violance.
In Islam violence is prohibited and is a sin, so no violance, no blocking of roads, no damaging properties and most of all no setting fires to poor people's shops and cars.
