mqm terror victims should know the feelings since 1986
two days ago i met a man from khi but originally from multan. He made a big mistake of becoming a member of mqm. He came to canada 5 years ago and he is still paying donations to the mqm. When he mentioned that he was immigrating to canada, he received the reply : Doesnt matter, your family is still here. You better pay.
his family just quietly arrived in canada few months ago

Most of our distinguished forum members (sympathizers of MQM) know these ground realities. They have following problems ;
1- The causes behind formation of this organization were genuine OR were made to look genuine at the behest of agencies. JI failed to take care of Mohajirs' issues back in late seventies in an era of emerging Sindhi nationalism. So to hate JI is like a faith for MQMers. I have seen these forum members hating Jamatias like anything. Even their quarrel with members of other political parties also ends up in calling them 'Jamatia' -- an 'abuse' just like our Shiite brothers condemn their opponents by calling them 'yazid' or 'shimar'. This whole 'cause-and-effect' scenario suited our then president Gen. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. To him it was necessary to stem the tide of Sindhi nationalism and Bhuttoism. Where Islamic slogan was found effective in other parts of the country, in Karachi it lacked luster.
2- They find themselves beleaguered in Karachi due to extreme ethnic /communal tensions perpetrated and propagated by MQM itself not only with other communities but with JI / Haqiqi factions of Mohajirs as well. So MQM which is part of problem per se is also seen as an ultimate solution or as an ultimate refuge --- so to speak.
3- There is also an element of ego here. Mohajirs see MQM as their party vis-a-vis PPP which is perceived as Sindhi s' party. And PML_N is considered Punjab's party. So when some of our honourable forum members ask that if not MQM then what ---- a logical question coming out of their subconscious. Although they don't mention their sub-nationalism based prejudice in their arguments.
4- This is also a reality that there are a couple of paid elements in this forum (some, not all) promote ethnic hatred from concocted and spiced up 'ethnic war stories' of the past and thus try to justify the presence of MQM. Some of them even admit phenomenal 'bori band lashain' as an act of MQM and legitimatize it by saying it a necessary 'response' without any remorse. Although most of the victims of this phenomenon were Mohajirs themselves.
5- Some stupid and thickheaded Punjabis, Sindhis and Pathans of our forum , also do not recognize the delicacies involved in political discussion. Their deliberate and off-the-cuff racial remarks against Mohajirs (though most of the time driven in hate of MQM) cause those MQM followers to think twice who feel inwardly fed up of ethnolinguistic politics of their mafia.
6- So our dear MQM sympathizers are in Catch-22 situation.
You match with option-4, dude, nice clearification any ways..............hahahaahahahhahaaaa
