Why not spend that money in building industry?...........

Lauching Infra. Projects benefits the people and boost economy. During the 2009 Recession in North America and EU, their govt. poured in $$$ into massive infra projects to boost economy. Construction of homes will benefit many industries including Finance, Steel, Cement and many more. Create jobs and boost economy. People will have more money to spend. Great vision of PTI.

5 million homes in 5 year term....means 83,000 homes per month....even UAE does not produce so many housing units in 1 year with their advanced construction industry what PTI will produce in 1 month. :):):):) comparing UAE with Pakistan, pakistan's population is 23 Core and UAE is 1 Crore, :), and UAE Area is 32,300 sq mi and Pakistan 340,509 sq mi

Comparing area of a country ? So Mongolia is 2 times bigger than Pakistan so according to you theory they are not comparable! You compare Economies munna. The Pakistani economy is 300 Billion and UAE economy is 280 billion. The UAE is known as the construction capital of the world. They have the most dynamic construction industry in the world with huge companies like DAMAC....NAKHEEL....Emaar. They produce less than 80,000 units in A YEAR....but PTI is going to construct 83,000 homes IN A MONTH every month for the next 5 years? PTI Zombies will believe anything....

This plan is not workable and -practical. If you assume government will just give Rs. 500,000 relief to each family then multiply it with 25 Lakh and you will get an idea how much money you need. If a government cannot built Bhasha Dam then how on earth they can built this big number of houses. I think government should be realistic now and they are not promising to come to power but they are in power and if they will not fulfill promises then people will laugh on their future promises as well.

mere bhai, zara socho, thora sa socho, yeh ghar aasmaan se nahin girain gey, inhain banaya jaye ga... bananay ke liye material aur labor darkaar ho ga... matlab industries will boom which are affiliated to making houses plus jobs will be created.... 3 birds with 1 stone sir... gharrebon ko sastay ghar, industrial wheel, plus jobs, will benefit everyone

o bhai, they are not going to make customised mansions... rather simple straight forward basic housing lanes.... jis ke sar pe chat na ho, wont give a rats ass about how basic the house is... a kitchen, washroom, 1-2 bedrooms, a roof, is more than enough for someone who cant afford a house on normal market or is homeless...

If Ik doesn't accomplish any more projects after finishing homeless scheme,
I will consider IK has done more work in last 10+ years of PPP & Pml N combined altogether in one step alone here.

Would be nice if the can build small houses like these. I know they would be cheap, but wouldn't mind them being a bit aesthetic. The design needs to be consistent and shouldn't be beyhangum.
