Building 50 lakh new homes was in the manifesto of PTI, and after 1 year of planning construction on homes have started in several city's. Here are the latest pictures of homes under construction in Renala Khurd near Okara.

5 million homes? hahaha.....they have to HANDOVER 3500 houses A DAY....not build a few and hand them over after 2 year. The score will be 1% pass 99% fail. 1 % ghar milengey.....means 50,000 homes....thats a 99% fail mark

Building with brick and mortar in Pakistan climate and geography is highly expensive and inefficient. These homes are hot in the summer and cool in the winter. It takes a lot of energy to cool them in summer or heat them in winter. Why can't we innovate and use this ambitious goal to bring other innovative altnernative construction methods that are cheaper and more energy efficient?
