I am also from Karachi. Only reason to highlight Karachi is that unfortunately our journalists are blatantly supporting him as he belongs to same city. How come we should remove inzimam, micky and rest of management but retain Sarfaraz? It makes no sense. His record is abysmal, his fitness, keeping, batting etc are all well below average. Needs to be removed asap.

Agreed on your points except Umar Akmal...He was given many chances..He don't deserve place in the team..Give the chance to younger players. Strip off Sarfraz as Captain..Rizwan should prepare for his alternative..Shoaib..Hafeez..Fakhar.. kick out..Wahab should on rest.. Give more chances to new batsmen in the team..We have worst bating line up.

Fawad Alam, Khurrum Manzoor and others. Ahsan Ali will also have the same fate. PCB never supported these guys even after performing consistently in domestic cricket. Malik made Fawad Alam a towel boy and ask him to play as an opener. Putting too much pressure on him to perform while Malik and Hafiz performance is not even on international standards.
PCB continue to support Malik, Hafiz and Umar Amin (Project Umar Amin), while others good Cricketers were overlooked.

What other wicket keeper options are there?
Big no no to Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal.
Mohammad Rizwan??? His batting has declined.
Bismillah Khan??? Can he be groomed as a proper wicket keeper?? Ruhail Nazir (playing U-19 World Cup in 2020) needs to play couple of domestic seasons to see if he ready for National level.

Unless changing the cricket structure in Pakistan these resignations and replacement will not make a huge difference. I will repeat what Amir Suhail said few years ago this is the best lot we have, domestic cricket structure needs a big over haul. We do not have good replacements. Bangladesh domestic cricketers get more money than ours, how can you attract people to a sport where is no future unless you go to the national team.

Restructuring Cricket and making it as a national sport.

Following IK vision to revamp Pakistani cricket, I think we should only have 6-teams teams by 2020 for 4 day matches, National One Day Championship and domestic T20 competition.

Teams
1) Central Punjab
2) South Punjab
3) Sindh
4) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
5) Balochistan
6) AJK/GB & ISB (Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan)
Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan)

Each will be a provincial cricket associations with 32 player with central contract.The association will be run by a management committee, with each having its own Chief Executive Officer. All six associations will become legal entities responsible for running all cricket in that province right from the grassroots level, including Under 13, Under 16, Under 19 and club/school cricket.
31 first class and 31 non first class matches (3 day match)
