لیکن اگر یہ صحیح بھی ہوتا تو کیا کل یہ کہنے میں حق بجانب ہوتا کہ پٹرول سعودی عرب میں ۳۵ روپئے لٹر، قطر میں ۳۸ روپئے اور ابوظہبی میں اکتالیس روپئے لٹر ہے پاکستان میں ۱۱۰ روپئے لٹر کیوں ہے۔ مذکورہ تینوں ممالک میں گندم کی فی ایکڑ پیداوار پاکستان سے اڑھائی گنا زیادہ ہے اور ان کے پاس ملینز ٹن کی اضافی پیداوار ہے۔ ویسے بھی جب کسان کو پنجاب میں فی کلو پینتالیس اور سندھ میں پچاس روپئے فی کلو سپورٹ پرائس دی گئی ہے تو آٹا کیا ۳۲ روپئے بِکے گا؟
یہ چول بندہ خود کو معیشت دان کہتا ہے جبکہ اس کی تعلیم پولیٹیکل سائنس کی ہے اور اس کی عقل پٹوار خانے جیسی۔
نیچے مارچ ۲۰۲۱ کی مختلف ممالک میں آٹے کی فی کلو قیمت دی گئی ہے یقینا اس لسٹ میں پاکستان

Should we not equate the currencies before making some idea on these figures. We are less than half compared to Indian rupee. I think it is not a straight comparison as it is written.

FyI, his facts are totally wrong. 5KG bag range from &10-$12. This price is local brand. The Indian brand is expensive

I calculated the petrol prices in India w.r.t Pakistan and it turned out to be around 70 Pak Rs per litre.

Firstly, I did not compare with India even when our prices are slightly cheaper than theirs. Secondly, you can see that Farukh Saleem is a big liar as always. I have checked his tweets and charts many a time and mostly found them incorrect or tricky. This man calls himself an economist but was found out when as an advisor to the PM, he could not answer a simple question on Shahzeb's show. A student of finance - in his first year of education - could have answered that question and taken Shahzeb Khanzada to defensives. Thirdly, all prices in the link that I attached, are noted in USD and anyone can easily convert them to Pak rupee by multiplying with 155.

I calculated the petrol prices in India w.r.t Pakistan and it turned out to be around 70 Pak Rs per litre.

Not at all. The petrol price in Mumbai today is 97.55 Indian rupees. One Indian rupee is equal to 2.155 Pak rupee which means the petrol price in Mumbai is 97.55 X 2.155 = 210 Pak rupees.
