Well I dont support Zaid Hamid, Cant say about his being murtad, Allah knows the best.
but he is an Engineer, did his BE from NED University.

and about his analysis, he just copies stuff from other people. his speeches on Zionism were taken from Ron paul.
and his analysis of Muslim History (although is in right direction,) But highly exagerated.
