The MQM is very good and respectable party. Some of its elite, such as Subzwari, etc are very good asset to the party. They may have committed some crime but I am not aware of.

One thing I do know that my friend in Canada was confronted by a MQM active member. The friend had walked away from the MQM and stopped his donations in Karachi because his move to Canada.

This is what the friend told me:

" Three MQM members, on trip to Canada from Karachi, visited me at my place for dinner. After dinner, during the tea, one said
"Please reinstate the donation and we know where your sister lives in Karachi"

He explained this to an immigration attorney. His sister and family were in Canada in less 6 months. It amazed me at the how efficient that attorney was. He wouldn't tell me the details of what he did to get them over so quick.

I am not saying that bhatta khori, torture, threat of extinction etc is the official policy of the MQM, but the eventual blame will reach the top - Altaf bhai


AH has tarnished the image of once a well respected party by calling Pakistan a blunder and many others harkatein by him

He should call it quits and retire. Let someone new elected by the party run the business. The tarnished image will resurrect w/o delay.

But then again thats why he helped the PPP bring the 18th amendment.

The story you are telling about your friends sister is not new in using the MQM's name for getting immigration. I know many people who never lived in Karachi, but filed themselves as a worker of MQM during 1992 operation and showed to Canadian immigration if they go back to Pakistan there lives will be in danger because of the operation in Karachi, these people submitted fake property documents and news paper cuttings to strengthen their cases, although, as I said, they were NOT from Karachi or and even know anything about MQM. They all haters of MQM now but used MQM's martyrs names to live in Canada and USA.

Help me out here. If so many people hate MQM, dont you think they have merits as to why they hate???

You are absolutely wrong in your assumptions. Yes, Altaf Hussain and others got asylum on true grounds. Their lives were absolutely in danger before they left Pakistan, and still AH's life is in danger. You just said so many people hate them, so what you expect from these haters? Love and affection? OR they want to kill him at any cost? They did it at first place with Dr. Imran Farooq when they got the chance. Mind it sir.

I was telling about the same haters, when operation started, they made fake papers and applied for the immigration, and now they are again haters of MQM and AH.

Please make it clear AH got immigration before his marriage. His asylum had nothing to do with his marriage. Thanks
