It is very important to have correct Islamic believes otherwise there are very serious implications. For example, the correct Islamic believe is that we cannot see Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) in a dream. In fact, the Bukhari hadith says that whoever sees Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) in a dream has seen him in wakefulness. Since none of us have seen him in wakefulness, we cant see him in a dream. ...............

Alhamdulillah-i-rabbil alameen. I have seen in my dreams:

Aqa (s.a.w.)---- 5 or 6 times

Ibrahim (alaihissaalam): once

Musa (alaihissaalam): once

My dua is with Allah that I see Isa (alaihissaalam), and Ismaeel Ibrahim (alaihissaalam) before pass on, for only Allah knows if I will ever be forgiven...

I know there is a hadith: Shaitan does not have any power to duplicate any of the nabis or rasuls (alaihi-mu-ssaalam) in flesh or in dream. He is just not been empowered.

So based on the ahadeeth in your thread what have I seen??

Even if I have seen their (alaihi-mu-ssaalam) sketches or 'khaka', good enough for me and its been trememndous honor and previledge, alhamdulillah

You are right following is the Hadeeth you are referring to:

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Prophet (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) say: Whoever sees me in a dream will see me when he is awake; the Shaytaan cannot take my shape.
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6592; Muslim, 2266)

Based on the very clear message in the above ahadith, we can state that only those people could dream about the Prophet (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) who had seen him in wakefulness, i.e. in real life. This is very very important. If Satan had been able to impersonate the Prophet (??? ???? ???? ???? ????), he could misguide the Sahaba (RA). Similarly, Sahaba (RA) could be sure they had indeed seen the Nabi (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) because they knew what he looked like! Thus, both conditions are met: Satan cant impersonate Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????), and the dreamer can be certain this is the case precisely because he knows what Nabi (??? ???? ???? ???? ???? looked like.

- Why people like Yusuf Kazab managed to fool educated Muslims like Zaid Hamid?

- Why we see Shirk around Mazars and Durgahs? Why Allah did not give power to Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) to have knowledge of unseen (??? ?????)but still there are Muslims who believe that Peer, Walis, Durwaish has the knowledge of unseen (??? ?????) despite the Qur'aanic verse: Say: None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (Unseen) except Allaah, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected [al-Naml 27:65] ?

- Why some Muslims believe that Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) is still alive even though Abu Bakr (Razi Allah Talah Anhum) declared after the death of prophet that Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) is dead and read the Quraanic verses. "And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels!s, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful." (Quraan 3.144)

- Why, when the army of Aisha (Razi Allah Talah Anhum) and Alis (Razi Allah Talah Anhum) were face to face, Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) did not came into the dream of anyone to avoid that war.

- Why cant we find any authentic Hadeeth to support Sufism and all the Shirkia act Muslims are doing today.

There is only one answer Muslims are deviating from the straight path because of Shirk, innovations, leaving the Qur'aan and the Sunnah (??? ???? ???? ???? ????)

To conclude:

We cannot see Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) in a dream. In fact, the Bukhari hadith mentioned earlier says that whoever sees Muhammad (S.A.W) in a dream has seen him in wakefulness. Since none of us have seen him in wakefulness, we cant see him in a dream.

The very serious implication of holding this belief is that many hopefuls have launched their religious careers (fan following) by making this claim. Almost all our Sufi saints have established their credibility, and their thrones, by doing this. They first claim to have seen the Prophet (S.A.W), then they say they are in direct contact with him, then they claim they have been divinely inspired, and then they build their economic empires which they leave to their successors.

It is due to this severe and far reaching consequence that we need to set the record straight and prove to readers that is it NOT possible to see Muhammad (S.A.W) in our dreams, since we have neither seen him in his life, nor will we see him in our wakefulness. This is in strict accordance with the Bukhari ahadith above.

The Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: the one who sees me in a dream has truly seen me for indeed the devil can not take my shape to deceive people.
Mentioned in the Hadith Shall really see me while awake refers to an actual and real seeing of the Prophet while awake before death.
How can we not yearn for Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ^alayhi wasallam when he (SAW) is the one who said: [Whoever sees me in a dream shall really see me while awake.]
This means that the one who sees the Messenger of Allah sallallahu ^alayhi wasallam in the dream, receives the glad tidings of dying as a believer.
We ask Allah to grant us seeing our beloved and choicest prophet Muhammad in our dream tonight. (ameen)

My Dear brother Knowledge Seeker,

I apologize if my thread has hurt anybody's feeling. The intention is to make Muslim united and requesting them to follow only one path which is Qur'aan and Sunnah (??? ???? ???? ???? ????).

I do not have any ill agenda other than pointing my fellow Muslims towards the straight path. You can not debate with people who invented different school of thoughts but you can try to bring Muslims who are blindingly following different school of thoughts without doing any research, they are unaware that some of their believes are very clearly against Qur'aan and authentic Ahahdeeth . Many of us believe that Prophet Muhammad is alive just because their ancestors and their peer, durwaish and wali believes so. Just think about it, wasn't it the case with people of Mecca when Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????)was showing people of Mecca the straight path.

As a Muslim this is our responsibility to search for the knowledge and you cant get correct knowledge by just blindly following peer, durwaish and wali. You need to read and UNDERSTAND Qur'aan and read Ahadeeth.

Allah said: And We have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Quran 54:17)

You cant just keep on rejecting Qur'aanic verses and authentic Ahadeeth just because they do not match with what your peer, durwaish and wali is saying.

The Quraanic verse # 256 quoted by you. Ibn-e-Kaseer described an Hadeeth under Tafseer of this Ayah. The Hadith refer toseeing of Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) in dream by a Sahaba (RA) and it clearly mention near the bottom of page 368 that " main Ney Hazoor ki mojoodgi main kuwab Dekha Tha" (??? ?? ???? ?? ??????? ??? ???? ????? ???). Hence it further confirms the argument that a only Muslim who has seen Prophet Muhammad (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) alive can only see him (??? ???? ???? ???? ????) in their dreams. I hope that Tafseer of the Ayah 256 -257 will Insha-Allah open your heart and you will be able to resolve any confusion in your mind. Insha-Allah

Brother, Please be careful about the correct translation when quoting Quran.
