Why is taking orders from ISI a crime in Pakistan but taking orders from international agencies a ma

Edit: I think ill add here that if PTI or any other political party is working for ISI which is a Pakistani organization, then why the uproar for the post I see that its a disgusting thing taking orders from ISI. But same if one takes orders from any other organization then its the right thing.

I think those who are anti-ISI should comment more here.

ISI means Pakistan Army. I will be very happy if pakistan army support PTI. In Nawaz Sharif case Raw, Moodi, CIA, America is supporting Nawaz Sharif.

Brother the thread is in context of comparing ISI support vs foreign agency support. Are you saying ISI support is illegal but getting foriegn agencies support is not illegal as there is nothing defined in our constitution on this?
I am 100% with you that Army shouldn't play its political role. On the otherhand, I know Nawaz is more than a Dictator, he will destroy Pakistan but won't resign?

We worship the same God, Speak the same language and share the same culture, I was stabed in the back by Pakistan army (Indian audience shout"shame shame" ) & NS thank them. If this is the case than it is the responsibility of the agencies to keep a very close eye on him.

Because the sorry state that the country is in today is direct result of 38 years of military rule. During military rule, due to iron hand things look superficially calm on the surface but underneath it erodes the very roots of the country. Examples are bengalis resentment leading to separation of east pak during Ayub's marshall law. Rise of religious intolerance, widening sectarian rift, spread of gun and drug culture, and creation of mqm, loss of siachin during Zia's marshall law. War on terror participation, spread of suicide bombers, unrest in Baluchistan and lal masjid incident during Musharaf's marshall law are few example how badly and deeply country had suffered during military rule. Army's and agencies job is to protect the country from external enemies. Their job is not to run the country.

India and Pak got independence at the same time. They both have similar human tendencies and corruption etc. The only reason that india today is on road to progress is because of sustained democracy. Some may say that it is because Nehru ended the feudal system in India early on. To which my reply would be that army ruled for 38 years in pak, why they did not end the feudal system. Thats because to create a sense of legitimacy, for otherwise illegitimate army rule, the military rulers nurture and breed a class of corrupt politicians who's sole purpose is to play the role of yes master to military dictator and provide somewhat civilian face to otherwise illegal govt. Shaikh Rasheed and Chaudhary brothers are living examples of such politicians.

I will agree to your core issue here that military shouldn't indulge in politics, yes military has taken the upper hand here by creating political parties. Having said that I think military should play a supporting role and back the politics indirectly like it does in any country. So if someone is being backed by the state military setup that means that it is for the betterment of the state.

realistically looking at the world politics and the strongest nation right now (America), do you think CIA or FBI doesn't involve in USA politics? I was talking to an American once who was in their army. That man knew more about the Pakistani politics more than any average man or even highly knowledgeable politician here in Pakistan.

Well I was talking about the general perception that is being portrayed by a large mass nowadays that if anyone is taking orders from ISI then they are bad for the country. I have no proof whatsoever and here I am not to prove who is giving orders. Just want to discuss what people views are regarding this sentiment. Like if ISI was made to protect the country then taking orders from it would be a matter or national security.

What you are talking about are direct threats. If USSR back then will threaten you then obviously you will back off and so is the case of USA threatening you nowadays.

You have accepted that army could also be controlled by whatever the means are, so how could you then trust them???

The thing is that they are also human, have their own limitations and priorities and weaknesses.
