Subhan Allah.. along with being a Nationalist, ur racist too..

fine with me.. but I prefer the distance.

thanks.
Muslims born in Muslim Countries also dont share any enmity towards different sects as a general rule...it is always a small subset of population that causes the problem.

Secondly Muslims born in other countries dont really get a first hand living understanding of the religion by participating in a Muslim Society and so are also oblivious to a more deeper understanding of the religion and sects as they get culturally immersed into the LOCAL CULTURE. This is MORE dangerous because protection of Iman is more important than anything else. and for a lot of the young folks IMAN is easily lost in these countries due to their integration into the local culture.

Hence the ignorance of Muslims born in the west towards ISlam is no reason to celebrate when ones Iman is at stake :)

Qadiyani Masjid, hmmm. Maybe if you drive a km further you might find a jew Masjid, a christian Masjid. Heck they now have queer Masajid in US.

In an Kaafir, infidel and a decadent country like the US, there is a sunni masjid, a shia masjid (Dar-e-Abbas) and an Ahmedi Masjid all within 5 miles radius from where i work. Ppl from all backgrounds have their shops close to their masjid. Never have I heard issues erupt. Infact, its unthinkable!

I dont know exactly what the uniting factor is. Maybe the lack of politicization of religion?

NO worries (bigsmile)....we all are aware of how allergic you are to opposing opinions if they dont fall within the confines of your very limited bedroom understanding of issues. UNfortunately, reality is something completely different ...BUT you please keep your distance !(bigsmile)

Enjoy !

Reality? How many countries have you visited? How many people of different nationalities and culture do you INTERACT with IN PERSON? I rest my case.

Dude, I am not the one talking about distances [hilar]...Your the one talking about it !

First off i find it ridiculous the way you talk about divisions and sects amongst the youth in Pakistan when you've never spent time here amongst the youth !.. Like how dare you ?(bigsmile)

How do you justify your exposure to foreign cultures as equivalent to giving you enough clout to talk about secretarian divisions in Pakistan ?...How do you know who I am and what interactions Ive had ?...You simply dont !(bigsmile)

When you DONT KNOW so much and lack in all these fields ...WHY do you POST BEDROOM analysis that make you look bad ???...and then you defend them as if your some scholar !!

Your allergies for Pakistani society are well known here ...so keep on resting your cases !:)

I know a person who is an atheist and barely saved his life because he asked in Quaid e Azam university, voh salman rushdie ka novel aaj kion nahi parhana? He had to vanish during night and he still says that he didn't utter those words out of respect for rushdie but for the sake of information about curriculum. He later got his PhD from Australia and is now working in Islamabad.

Last night Mustansar Hussain Tarar quoted a similar incident when he said ke mein ne tv pe keh dia ke mein ne Hazrat Muaviyyah R.A ki qabr damishq mein dekhi thee aur us per kothri mein rehne valay boorhay ne apnay kapray phailaye howe thae to mein jab ghar pohncha to us vaqt tak kayi dhamki amaiz phone aa chukay thae aur kayi mein to yeh kaha gaya tha ke ham is ki zuban guddi se khainch leinge. Wondering for his life, he thought of many ways about how could he repeat the incident without being noticed but couldn't think of any way kionkeh jin ko nahi pata tha un ko bhi pata chal jata. Then he contacted some JI big gun who got him out of this rut. He had just quoted what he had seen and he respects Ameer Muaviyyah R.A a lot. We are not ready to discuss anything.

Last night I was sitting with my shiite mates when a question arose, yeh abb tak maatam kion kerte ho bass ker do yaar, the reply was to phir yeh father's day kion manatay hain isko bhi band ker dein. The answer came from a shiite friend of mine who has higher analytical abilities and has the capability to discuss things with a cool mind but as you can see, the reply was as childish as it could get.

We are not ready to discuss, we are ready to kill only though we can't and the mobsters who do are also fond of doing it to make themselves satisfied that they are serving Islam. Everybody knows I respected Tahir Ul Qadri and presented him as a reference at places yet now I don't and I simply know that he has gone below his dignity for the recent happenings and I don't trust him or his knowledge anymore.

Asif, same goes for the sentence you wrote about "ahmedi masjid". I know you are a moderate man but see, some things are above rationality. What is the harm in calling it a worship place for quadianis, simple as that. Just because some people carry a very hostile behaviour towards quadianis, we shouldn't go to the other extent to make things balanced. I hope you get it. I know both men who caused the incident to spring (the leader of the group which started chanting katam e Nabuwwat sal Allahu alaeyhi vasallam slogans at rabwah station and the one who went, gathered his fellows and attacked those boys) for which the movement started when quadianis were declared nonMuslims. I meet them both at occasions yet I don't hesitate stating the truth before the man who was from the quadiani group though he has been helpful to me at times even when Muslims went to the worst extents to turn me down. Rationality without respect and belief goes astray as in the case of mr. Qadri also.
