A country's allies are a corner stone of its foreign policy. Pakistan heavily relies on economic aid from its middle eastern partners. Middle east serves as an economic hub for million of Pakistani immigrant workers and also a vital source of fuel for Pakistan. In the past Saudi Arabia and the Arab allies of Pakistan namely ( Qatar, UAE . Libya etc.etc. ) provided Pakistan with the financial help to build its nuclear program. Moreover, these countries also pumped up petro dollars in pakistan economy whenever Pakistan was in need.

Iran on the other hand is also a strategic partner of Pakistan in the region. The importance of Iran is solidified from the fact that it is our neighbor and has a considerable religious following in Pakistan. With the ongoing war of dominance between Saudia and Iran, what do Pakistanies think is in our national interest. Should we side with Iran or Saudia? This is the focus of this poll.

Lets have a healthy poll and debate with logic and reasoning!

Pakistan should not be a party in this dispute.
It should stay away or if at best, it should work to mediate between Iran and KSA.
Middle East is burning in fire. Pakistan shouldn't jump into it and drag this war to its doorstep.

looking at the history (post khomeni revolution) iran has done no good to pakistan while on the other hand KSA has always been there for our help.it wont be wise to leave saudis in this moment of need.iran being our neighbour is the only thing that should concern us but being neighbour is not the only requisite for friendship.as long as shia papulation of pakistan is concerned ,i dont think they should be worrying about pakistan first then iran.there is a strong irani lobby but it should not stop us from doing the right decision.
On a moral ground ,its IRANIAN policies which has caused bloodshed and unrest in the muslim world and they should be taught a lesson this time.

Oman is definitely one of the most tolerant and progressive nations in the Muslim world, they actually follow Ibadi school of thought. Udhar Sunni Masajid ke saath saath Shias ki bhi Masajid ya Imam Bargahein hain. Wahaan churches bhi hain, temples bhi hain so expats can practice their religion. Aap Milad karein, Tablighi activities karein, Muharram ki majalis karein , koonde karein, Eid celebrations ke saath saath Diwali aur Christmas ki celebrations bhi hain wahaan.

Just because Saudia is a sunni state does not it mean it has the inherent right to be sided with, on the other hand no love lost for Iran for despite being our neighbor Iran has always had a soft heart for india and literally threw us under the bus on the issue of AQK.

I think what the government has said is very fair and wise (I never thought I would say this about PML-N!!).

Bhai The same is in Yemen , Both Shia and Sunni muslim pray in one mosque and even join each other celebration. , The Sunni Muslims in Yemen mostly belong to Imam Shafi school of thought and Shia Muslim belongs to Zyadi School which are knows as fiver's and there are many similarities between this two groups. They makeup the 80% of Yemen Population.

Infact if you see currently they are fighting jointly against foreign attack on there country. They never said that they have any amition of attacking on Saudia.

But yes they have support from Iran , so basic problem is how can Saudia allow a govt with Iran support in his neighbor. So they come up with the idea of claiming that let go the world by saying we are under threat and let's jointly Bomb it.

USA and Europe also doesn't want a main economic corridor to fall in Iran Supported govt. Because it will effect there supply line through gulf sea.
