I was wondering if any Siasat.pk member trades in commodities, stocks or forex either professionally or on the side?

Anyone who is trading Futures is gambling the money on speculation. However, one has to have account size large enough to sclap the market for few ticks each trade. when you get stuck, use the leaverage within few ticks to get out reversing the trade. But you have to have a well thought out plan and an excellent skill of executing it without any confusion.I have been trading Futures for almost 20 years, Started with Index ( Nasdaq) , Russel and eventually S&P. I found the technical indicators don't work on a long term. Only mechanical approach is the best. Good luck to your and others endavour in a cut throat market.

20 years... wow. I bet I can learn a billion things from you.

Hedging is key.. KEY!! And not getting emotionally invested is the key to survival. I remember how I lost my behind holding Fertilizers and miners in 2008 but when the trend broke, I liquidated positions and pilled onto my financial shorts.

Used the same pattern this time. Started a silver short to hedge gold at 1680 couple of months ago.

I trade forex with EU , GU , GOLD , silver and many other pairs , i use technical analysis with PA(price action) , only PA , no indicators , i read charts , i am trading since december 2010

I like to discuss charts and strategies with people that trade charts , that dont do blind entries based on xyz indicator , if you are one of them contact me :)
