Centuries ago Socrates made this influential quote that; 'An unexamined life is not worth living' and ever since then the modalities of an ideal or balanced life has been discussed by the sociologists, philosophers, theologians and by the economists as well.

Recently a lecture and Q&A interactive session was conducted in Battell Chapel of Yale University in the town of New Haven, Connecticut US where Sheikh Hamza Yousuf and Christian theologian Dr. Miroslav Volf participated and later exchanged their gripping views on the subject in a separate sitting.

The entire conversation in the following clip is primarily centered around the perspectives of Islam on the subject matter with relevant references of past scholars and sages were also brought into this interesting discussion.
