'War is not a solution to Pakistan's problems'

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said on Wednesday that war is not a solution to the countrys problems.
Gilani was meeting with an Indian peace delegation at the Prime Ministers secretariat in Islamabad.
Indo-Pak relations as well as the regional situation were under discussion in the meeting.
While talking to the delegation, Gilani stressed on the need for sustained dialogue between the two countries. He said India and Pakistan should work together to tackle the menace of terrorism.
Gilani observed that dialogue is the only amicable way to resolve out-standing issues between the two countries.
In his address to the parliament on Tuesday, President Asif Ali Zardari had said that a full spectrum dialogue had been resumed with India and that Pakistan was seeking a just settlement to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions while respecting the aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
The interior secretaries of Pakistan and India are expected to meet in New Delhi from March 28. This is the first time that such high-level officials are going to meet since the breakdown of the peace dialogue after the Mumbai attacks.
