A technocrate govt with honest , sincere and patriotic people is acceptable to everyone,army stay at back to safegaurd the nation.This corrupt and insincere govt have to go thats it.Enough is enough.They have looted this nation with both hands and God send someone who cut their both hands and get the nation's money back from these thugs. Imran Khan is an honest and dedicated dedicated person for this nation ,should be given a chance with a group of honest and experienced people who can change the direction of this country. If MQM get out of this govt ,the govt falls itself and then there are some ways to form new govt.Let MQM present no-confidence motion in the parliament and vote against this govt.A caretaker or technocrate govt can be form democratically with honest people.These present politicians have disappointed the whole country.Need new faces .

Its high time that Army declares a localized martial law in Karachi metropolitan. We must not let the ANP/MQM continue destabilizing the country. somebody out there is responsible and deserves prosecution and eventual hanging. indirectly PPP is responsible due to their closed eye fearing MQM's reprisal in parliament to bring the no-confidence vote against PPP.

Constitution has given the provinces a blank check as to when to call in the army. This is a major flaw. What if the provincial govt has its own stake in not calling the army as we see it now. MQm can not call the army because of fear they might lose everything. Altaf's recent statement approving the army incursion, is nothing but a bluff and a shield to protect his party in case the Sind governor does decide to call the army.

here is how constitution must be amended to prevent this chaos in future, dates are just for example:

1. Fed ministry of interior (FedMoi) requests the provincial governor/home minister etc to call the army and restore order on Jan 1. then closely monitors the situation.

2. Situation has deteriorated, but the province is not paying attention. The FedMoi sends a letter again requesting the same on Jan 10

3. Still no positive response from the province, FedMoi sends a final letter on Jan 20.
Same time FedMoi consults with the army chief and keeps the Supreme Court apprised of the lack of attention from the province.

If the situation has improved to the satisfaction of the FedMoi then no further action required,

If the situation has not changed, then FedMoi appears at the Supreme Court and appeals for permission to invoke the doctrine of necessity and send the troops to the affected city.

the Supreme Court by law would have only 24 hrs to decide and grant permission, OR the province's governor appeals with the SC to rescind the request of the FedMoi.

the Sc again has 24 hrs to examine the request and either grant or withhold based on the situation and interest of the country. On jan 31, the army goes in.

in case of current situation in karachi, the SC should not need even 24 hrs to grant permission to call the army.


so simple. but these 'democracy' fakers will never do it. Nobody wants to give up power.

Imran Khan joins Altaf Hussain in calling for frontline Army role in stabilizing Pakistan

Imran Khan realizing the crucial role of Army in establishing the writ of govt. stated that if Pak Army comes on the frontline for the stability of Pakistan, he will support that but he also followed up with the notion that military rule is'nt the answer and if Army organizes free and fair elections it will help the cause of Pakistan. I myself believe that Army won't take up the govt. role but if it can support alongwith CJ of Supreme court on the lines of Bangladeshi model of democracy by getting rid of the real cancer of Pak politics by getting rid of PPP and PML-N and form a caretaker govt. with able leaders, this action can assure confidence in Pakistanis that country is going in the right direction:

You have your history wrong. Pakistan instigated the 1965 war by interfering in indian occupied kashmir. India unexpectedly widened the war all along the west pakistan boeder. The tashkent agreement was not a declaration of friendship. Zia needed to solidify his rule of the country after sending the democratically elected prime minister ZA bhutto to the gallows. He found his opportunity in te soviet involvement in afghanistan. He was a cunning person and played the US against the USSR and in the interim solidified his own dictatorship. Neither Musharraf nor the US could have forseen the alqaeda attacks on 9-11. Afterwards their was little choice for anyone but to go after the taliban regime which was sheltering international terrorists. It was the right thing to do.

This civilian govt. awarded Hilal-e-Pakistan to US asst. secretary Boucher and Sen.Biden on the eve of drone attacks murdering Pakistani civilians. Or American security agencies involves in protecting their stooges Rehman Malik and Zardari giving them personal security cover. If past regimes have been just serving US interest this civilian govt. including the previous PPP govt. in 1995[which tried to reduce nuclear enrichment for Pak's nuclear program in order to please US] present civilian govt. is acting as their agents.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Sunday said his party will support patriotic Army generals steps like Martial Law if taken against corrupt politicians.

In his telephonic address to MQM workers here in Azizabad from London, the MQM Chief urged what he called patriotic generals to initiate Martial Law like steps against unscrupulous politicians.
