Dear All
For heaven's sake please be mature and realistic. Keep Pakistan above all leaders
First of all let me clarify it takes time for the system to develop so all those people who say that Imran Khan has done nothing so far, for them: it took 13 years in Makkah and 10 years in Madina to establish first muslim state while the leader we had was Hazrat Muhammad PBUH who had all the blessings of Allah with him but the natural process takes time and only then a group of people changes into a nation (by no means and no means IK is comparable to Hazarat Muhammad PBUH, this is just to explain to all those who want things to be done in just one day). Similarly, Muslim League was founded in 1906 and Muhammad Ali Jinnah joined it in 1912/13 and it took him more than 30 years to reach to common man and only then he was able to win 1946 elections and convert masses of people into one nation. so my argument is when such great leaders took so much time how can we expect that IK will do some wonders in days. As far as i see him he is doing good job, there is no single politician in Pakistan who has done so much work for Pakistan (Cancer Hospital, Namal University and Cancer research Laboratories - all of international standards) in so little time, and even when he is not in power, so just imagine if he comes in power what he can do.
As far as Altaf Hussain is concerned: he has all the rights to have his opinion, leaders needs to lead by example and if he really wants to change the system and wants to be a leader he should relanquish his dual nationality and live like a true Pakistani in Pakistan. and plz correct me if i am wrong are there any projects done by AH which are internationally renowned, though his party has enjoyed power for last 20 years in one form or the other.
Now coming back to the issue discussed above should army be invited: IK said very well that army can do relief work in the worst of times when nation needs it. but i disagree with him as well as AH at one point that someone else like army/judiciary should intervene. It should always be the common man, the message of change should come from the common man through democratic means. look at the developed nations around in the world, England, USA, France, all of them started developing when the common man decided that they want a just system. Otherwise same thing will continue as it was happening in the times of monarchy in England, a king being killed/sacked by another invader and dead/sacked king used to become innocent in the eyes of people no matter whether he was corrupt, unjust or whatever. in Pakistan change is there, just let it rise from the common man only then it will be sustainable, let the people decide who they want to be their rulers, and this process will work like a filtering process.
May Pakistan Live Long.
