"IF ALLAH HAD WISHED SO, HE COULD HAVE MADE YOU UMMAT-E-WAHIDA (ONE UMMAT)........

...... PEOPLE WOULD NOT HAVE CEASED TO DIFFER...................:

It is a test. Allah guides those who believe in Him towards Right Path.............

Allah does what he wishes!!!!!

So be content as Allah has created you, hold fast to His Cable and not be divided
that is the test.

May Allah (SWT) reward sister Faiza for posting such a thought provoking lecture of Dr. Zakir, and may this effort of hers be a hujjah for her salvation in the hereafter. :jazak:

I have listened the complete lecture. I have reached the conclusion that if Allah (SWT) has not sealed/locked someone's heart to the truth and guidance, this lecture may be sufficient for the guidance of a common Muslim.

Unity of ummah, only a desired and wishful thought or dream,
in reality, the distances seem so apart as the heavens and earth.
Imagine all the ummah united, you may call it a dream,

People like Jamaluddin Afghani and Iqbal dreamed it..
People like Qauid-e-Azam capitalized on it, was it not for this notion of unity, you won't be here posting on siasat.pk

What notion of unity. From Waziristan to Data Darbar and Kemari, Clifton, everyone seems to
be blood hungary, Getting out for just purchasing a bread may expose you to some
bang and angels may be ready to receive you. This kind of Unity is not acceptable.

What you just described is a perfect scenario of 'LACK OF UNITY'/'DISUNITY'/'TAFARQA'.

When sectarianism emerges, the notion of unity disappears, and violence ensues!

Is that what you want from Pakistan? Different sects at each other's throat till the victorious one emerges??

Please tell me, is this the Pakistan envisioned by Iqbal and Quaid???
Did Iqbal and Quaid love to favor one sect and leave the rest of the muslims?? If that's so , my father, who was Shia must have been quite delusional to have migrated to Pakistan ! And one thing I know for sure is that my dad was NOT delusional. Pakistan was meant for ALL muslims. End of story!

This is the point which I wish to made. Unless we take practical steps to achieve unity,
it will not come in the present prevailing circumstances. for that
cada vez mas forte minha fe e minha crianca.

Babadeena, Is it Portugeese? I tried to translate using online source, I found translation as " increasingly strong but my faith and my child"...
Is it correct translation?
yes it is in Portuguese. but correct translation will be: Everytime my faith and my creed is more strong. this is
from a song of Roberto Carlos.
