For all PMLN paid workers "Benami" is a transaction in which a person purchases the property in the name of another person. IK purchased the land in the name of his wife because she paid money to buy the land and after that IK paid back the amount to Jamima when he got money from UK by selling his apartment so Jamima returned the land to IK.

At the height of desperation, Cheema has come out with his kind of "Tashkent secret" but it does not help. Imran Khan related benaami transaction can not be discussed on merits, being his personal affair, having nothing to do with national concern like tax evasion, malpractice or fraud. At best it was a family matters management. Cheema's fruitless attempt and shor sharaba reminded me of late Bacha Khan who was arrested during British Raj for speaking against Rowlett Act of 1919. Late Bacha Khan used to enjoy what he actually spoke in front of a gathering. He was not ready for the speech but when pushed to stage, he said " yeh jo kala Qanoon hai, yeh bahut hi kala Qanoon hai aur ham is kalay Qanoon ko nai mantay kyu keh yeh kala Qanoon hai. Angrez hakoomat ko maaloom hona chahiyay keh yeh tu bahut hi kala Qanoon hai....." Bacha Khan did not say more than that but stil was arrested. Cheema faces the same dilemma that "yeh jo Imran Khan ki benaami hai, yeh bahut hi...." idiot !
