Dear all,

I feel that you have all been unfair and far too harsh in your behaviour towards Contra. After sharing with him my views, and hearing his, there is nothing to suggest that he is anything but fair, intelligent and reasonable. I feel that this forum is a public one and any discussion, insofar as it invites intellectual rigour and passion, is welcome. Let me stress that intellect, humour, fairness, good nature, wit etc. are not the sole domains of Pakistan or Pakistanis.

True liberty and freedom is when you make your peace with those who you do not agree with and let them have their say.

I agree with you that this forum should be open to freedom of expression and intellectual exercise for the participants but I have found more than often that 'contra' had attempted deliberately, indiscreetly, mischievously and mendaciously to slur Islam and Pakistan.

I have always thought that he believes that he is a clever sod and would get away with his perfidy but he is often caught and therefore vilified by his opponents.

We only ban people who are abusive and act like an idiot. Contra is also an Indian and he never gets banned and his comments are always welcome. If you are keep acting like you are doing right now. You will surely be banned permanently!
