You see you are also brain washed with certain facts and now you have no patience or courage, even to listen to the facts, what to talk of accepting them.....
One of the best and most brave programs done on TV..... Najam Sethi is great, breaking the stereotype and showing that it is not only about getting a bunch of foolish politicians and get them into an argument and our comedy loving nation will see that all night.........

As usual all brain washed idiots will now jump on Mr Sethi. I urge them to read home history book written by Pakistani Lady mentioned by Sethi. There are lots of books available on line which shows you the history of Pakistan and partition. Before whining about his comments why not check them yourself on-line. For Pakistan to have normal relationship with the neighbours, must know your history and change their concept about people about other faiths like Hindus, Sikhs etc. We need people like him to counterbalance the hate and falsehood spread anti-Pakistani elements like Zadi Hamid. We can't change the past but we should always try to understand it so that this generation and coming generation will be able to live in peace and harmony.

If we keep aside Gujarat riots, Nowadays Modi's Gujarat is not a bad place for Muslims, perhaps even better than Pakistan as it is progressing very well economically.

Do you have any proof of her marrying a Hindu. Looking at her vast academic background, I would say she is a professional and her books would not be biased. There are also other writes from third country....
This discussion would be balanced only when one day Mr Sethi tell us the Real history and real faces of Congress Leaders i.e. Nehru, Patel, Ghandhi and then I will ask your opinion on that Mr Hindu. You peoples also don't know the ABC of your history. We are much better in that case, at least we know some of it. We have "Sethi" like people to show the batter face of the history and I am sure you would have the some peoples like him to show you, your "Face"

I don't know which history he has studied in Text Books.
1. I have never see any sentence in any text/history book that "Pakistan was existed in 8th Century". If he would right why did he has presented the translation of the text. He could read the original text in English. The sentence might be like that "those areas which are now in Pakistan had the government of Mehmood of Ghazna etc............". But Mr Sethi has translated it in his own words.
2. About Muslim League. Again he is wrong. I have never seen any such sentence in text/ history books that Muslim league was made for Pakistan. We were taught that All India Muslim League was made to protect the rights of Muslims in India.
3. About the Allama Iqbal Address: It was new for me that Muslim States. I will do research on it.
4. About the Election in 1937 and 1945-46, we have studied in School/Colleges that Congress had won in 1937 & make the govt. which was existed till 1939 (But he didn't mention what the Congress Govt. did with Muslims in their govt. )
Further we were taught that in 1945-46 election, Muslim League had lost election in NWFP because Red Shirts were with Congress and were against the division of Pakistan. They helped Congress to win in NWFP.
5. 23rd March is the date when our constitutional history start.
6. We were also taught that there was not movement for Pakistan until 1940. Muslim League was only fighting for the Constitutional rights of Muslims.
In short that he is absolutely wrong in regarding the history of Pakistan in Text /history books. We were taught all these which Mr Shethi mentioned. But I don't know which history/ Text books he is referring to? He is trying to distort the facts actually.
By comparing the history mention by Mr Sethi and the history I have studied in Text books is almost same and which show it is more than 95 % correct.
Mr Sethi should also tell the history of Indian and congress as well some time.

I tend to agree with you, but please tell me are you practicing what you are preaching? Are you trying to live in peace and harmony with Kashmiris? Are you treating them the way you want to be treated? Do Dalits and Muslims and other minorities have same rights and privileges as bruhmans? Were hindus punished in the way which commensurates their crime during Gujrat incident? There are many more questions but lets start with these first and then we will take this discussion forward.
