سب سے پہلے تو خانزادہ کو فرشی سلام جِس نے مکمل تیاری اور حاضر دماغی کیساتھ بغیر خوفزدہ ہوئے انٹرویو کنڈکٹ کیا اور جماعت کے "اِسلامی" تھوبڑے کو پینیس منٹ میں تہس نہس کر کے رکھ دیا۔ آخر تک اِس کوچوان نُما اِنسان کے قابو نہیں آیا اور اِسکی بدتمیزی کے چابک کھا کر بھی سوالات کی دولتیاں مارتا رہا۔ اِس انٹرویو میں ایک ضمنی سبق یہ بھی پوشیدہ تھا کہ کبھی بھی انٹرویو بھوکے پیٹ اور بیوی سے "رپئیر" ہونے کے بعد بالکل نہیں دینا چاہیئے چاہے آفر کِتنے ہی بڑے چینل کیطرف سے کیوں نہ ہو۔
اعوان صاحب! بارود سے بھرا یہ اِنٹرویو اِنکے منافقانہ کردار پر بذاتِ خود ایک بہت بڑا اور جاندار تبصرہ ہے اِسکے بعد ہم ایسوں کے الفاظ وہ نہیں لِکھ سکتے جو شاہ صاحب کی دونالی بندوق سے سارے انٹرویو کے دوران مسلسل نکلتے رہے ہیں۔ سچ پوچھیں تو منافقت اور بدتمیزی کا مرکب نِکلا یہ بندہ تو۔ منافقت تو اِن کا ٹریڈ مارک تھا ہی یہ کریلا ماسٹر اِتنا بد کلام ہوگا سوچا بھی نہیں تھا۔
بحر حال وہ جو کہتے ہیں "چور چوری سے تو جائے ہیرا پھیری سے نہ جائے" کِسی سوال کا سیدھا جواب نہیں دیا گول گول باتوں کی گولیاں بنا بنا کر مارتا رہا۔ سو سال سے ہیرا پھیری کر رہے ہیں یہ حضرات اور قوم بھی جواباّ اِنکے ساتھ وہی ہیرا پھیری کر رہی ہے یعنی اِنہیں ووٹ ہی نہیں دیتی جبکہ یہ "نظامِ مصطفیٰ کے داعی" سے لیکر "طالبان کی دائی" تک کیا کُچھ نہیں بنے۔ کالجوں یونیورسٹیوں میں اِن جماعتیوں کی منافقت ہمیشہ بھُگتی آج اِنکے گُرو گھنٹال کو دھڑلے سے منافقت پر اصرار کرتے دیکھ کر کوئی حیرت نہیں ہوئی بلکہ جماعت کی صلاحیتوں کا اعتراف کرتا ہوں کہ اپنا امیر بالکل درست چُنا۔ اگر پاؤ چھٹانک کی کمی ہوتی تو منور حسن نائب امیر اور حافظ ادریس پورا منافق ہوتا میرا مطلب ہے پورا امیر ہوتا۔
میں نے مغرب میں نو مُسلم گوروں کو مسلمانوں سے کہیں زیادہ شدت، شوق اور محبت سے بارگاہِ الہی میں سربسجود دیکھا۔ آپکو شاید عِلم ہو کہ اپنے منور حسن صاحب گانے بجانے سے دِین کیطرف آئے ہیں اِنکی گفتار میں شدت تو نو مُسلموں جیسی ہے لیکن ذوق و شوق نہیں۔ ہو بھی کیسے منافقت اور خلوص ایک دِل میں کیسے بسیں۔

I think you have misread the answer and reached the wrong conclusion. I said it is "easy" to ask tough questions to JI (NOT that don't ask any questions to JI as you wrongly imply in your response) Afterall is JI currently in power? Are any of their policies being implemented?
I am pointing out the cowardly nature of this anchor, who has never asked the tough questions of why a foreigner is leading MQM? Why is he outside the country.
From your tone I can safely imply that you would back any party which has the backing of the west.

The question regarding NATO supplies was relevant to when the JI was n power with MMA.
JI is a political party and they have to reply to questions whether they are in power or not. Im not a PTI supporter but PTI has been facing tougher questions despite having NEVER been in power.
The cowardly nature was actually shown by JI qaid for walking out instead of facing the questions.
The fact of the matter is Qazi Hussain Ahmed deals with such questions too but he has a calculated response. Even Samia Raheel Qazi could answer these questions better than Munawer Hassan.
The question regarding NATO supplies was relevant to when the JI was n power with MMA.

I will not get into history but the leader of a political party is responsible for answering for the past, present and future policies of his party.
Munawwer Hassan failed because he is unfit to lead a political party under the current climate of intense media scrutiny. It would serve JI better to elect someone who is media savvy and can find the right words to construct a response instead of shouting 'amreeki agent' like a school boy IJT activist!
I will not get into history but the leader of a political party is responsible for answering for the past, present and future policies of his party.

Okay. For me you are going off a tangent to my first post; JI means nothing to me, neither am I their supporter or backer. I am not concerned with the conduct of the JI leader in the interview. Furthermore, I do not even think they are that significant. It obviously means a lot to you.
Indeed you rightly point out that PTI are asked tough questions and they face upto them even though they are not in power. However, you actually make a good point which fits into what I was pointing out earlier there is a discrimination in the ways different parties are dealt with and this is due to fear. There is saying in Punjabi "Kanday noo koi nai chair da, agar Kanday noo chero dai, thy Kanda chuba da" in other words if you touch the thorn, the thorn will hurt. This means that an anchor like Khanzada will ask Imran or the JI chief tough questions, but in the case of MQM he will never ask those questions because it is well known fact that MQM bullies journalists and anchors. Yet the tougher questions are asked to those parties currently not in power? How many people on a daily basis are dying in Karachi? Loss of innocent life is no joke and yet the media is scared to ask the parties in power who are killing people why they are led by a foreigner! Did you see the interview Jasmeen Mansoor conducted with Altaf? It was one of the most ridiculous interviews ever seen, even she was left in an awkward situation where the whole interview was a virtual political speech.

However Munawwar Hassan is answerable for his conduct and Shahzeb or any other anchor is responsible for their.
If an anchor doesnt ask tough questions from one person it just makes him biased. That doesnt take away the na-laiki of Shah sb. at handling the interview.

Munawar Hussain is what JI and TTP are represent, a hypocrites mindset, who are afraid to speak their true feelings, they can't muster popular support and wants to impose their will on majority....it seem that the one sect, identified as a curse among 76 of the prevailing sect have ultimately emerged...what TTP and JI has done, could never be achieved by worst on Islam enemy, 9/11 changed the symptomatic view of Europeans for Palestinian state and hedging the foreign terrorist in wazirsitan is nothing but putting us in dire situation....

Okay now we are reconciling to a point here. You maybe right the way he responded may show the lack of competence on the part of the JI chief. That means a lot to you, but for me i frankly do not give a toss.
However, I reinforce my earlier point that there is a discrimination in the way different parties/ and their leaders are dealt with by anchors/ and the media. The media for its part should be fair, which it will not be for reasons driven by fear and secondly by money.
Ideally the responsibility is two fold on politicians to answer tough questions and on the anchors and media to ask tougher questions to those in power. Unfortunately that is not happening. For instance, PTI is being shown as if it is the cause of all of Pakistan's troubles! Which is not the case.
Okay now we are reconciling to a point here. You maybe right the way he responded may show the lack of competence on the part of the JI chief. That means a lot to you, but for me i frankly do not give a toss.
However, I reinforce my earlier point that there is a discrimination in the way different parties/ and their leaders are dealt with by anchors/ and the media. The media for its part should be fair, which it will not be for reasons driven by fear and secondly by money.
