I agree with you she is a non issue. However you are completely wrong. She went on Lekin and told half cooked story. PTI had to respond to this false half cooked story. It now appears she was after 2 positions which were refused to her by the CEC. Worst of all she drafted the letter and lied that this was a notification from PTI! The CEC had refused her the position. You cannot blame PTI for this

don't you see its not pti, she is the one who started all this, first after shah mahmood joining, then the biggest drama after JH and now this letter, all on geo the great tv!
did you not see those programmes where she created all the dramas. she simply can't get over it!

Marvi Memon episode shows that there are going to be lot of issues for PTI and it will go through a lot o growing pains still. But, for people who say that Marvi Memon is a great politician and is a champion of the middle class or whatever should realize after watching this program that she is another self serving politician. Her father was an opportunist who worked with a dictator and she for all those years of Musharraf was okay with a dictator ruining the country and its institutions without any accountability but now all of a sudden she expects Pakistan and its parties to be at the standard of Scandinavian countries. She is talking about fuedalism and all but can she really say that she got the start and the recognition in Pakistan not because of her father and his connections to the dictator?
And, people should drop all this talk about PTI bringing a revolution - if its able to just do the right thing and follow the rule of law - that in itself will be a great achievement.

I think that PTI bungled this episode just as it has done on other occasions but I completely agree with you that Marvi Memon is doing just what she is claiming that she is against. Her approach on this issue points to the problems we face in the society in general even with people who think that their heart is in the right place. This sense of self righteousness is plaguing everyone in our country - this issues should not have gotten this much attention. The problems start when personalities become bigger than the politics itself - i hate personality worship - whether its Marvi Memon or Imran Khan.

most likely you muted the part which you didn't listen ..
weren't all PTI paid chamche posting threads the signatures are fabricated ?
isn't it obvious IK offered her the position ?
that was her point from day 1 .. and it is clearly proved ..
She would just like for people to ignore and not pay too much attention to that minor detail ;-) what is a little self drafted acceptance/offer letter between friends? :)

I agree, personality worship is mainly the issue as we see in BB case and zulfiqar ali bhutto and zardari still uses it even after 30 years of his death.
I think the thing is when every other party is doing personality worship some elemants in pti are doing the same to oppose the same personalities, in other words trying to speak the same language that our uneducated people understand. Pti talks about corruption they come with Ik's 30 year old scandals and jamima's religion and i fail to see the relavence, but the problem is people on street buy these personality attacks (I don't know if you saw the programme by freeha in murree where people on street actually said IK was yahoodi, I was shocked to hear it as i used to believe that people on street can't be that stupid to listen to something that absurd, but the reality is they are!).
Pti is learning and making mistakes like they did in this women's case. I honestly think she has lost the plot, did you hear her say a single word against pmln? and she thinks pti isn't perfect, good enough to her standard, what is her standard?
i hope things work out for the best out off all this ****!

I like the sarcasm in your post, however on a more serious note the CEC should consider suing her for damages as she has endeavored to malign PTI through false means. What are your thoughts? will that be giving her too much importance??????
PTI screwed this up but it was no slam dunk for marvi memon either....if anything this whole thing shows how messed up pakistani politics is

You have completely lost the plot:
she wanted 3 positions, out of which 2 were rejected and she wanted to join in Ghotki.
1 position which she wanted was agreed but rejected by the CEC. Get your facts right

so she was offered the postion, then what? he is taking many people and has also given position, what is so secrete and 'revealing' about that? She brings a letter drafted by herself and signed by IK who only thought she will be a good addition in pti,who probably signed it in a wish that she will join, how exactly that goes against IK, infaact by not joining she left the space for older politicians in a party which has such a big youth support, so infact she is a loser and she knows that too otherwise she won't be creating so much drama in all the talk shows in desperation,
