I dont know about the modalities involved in the election/.selection of the moderators but I believe there are more then a dozen of them, and most of them are immature, I also experienced the prevalence of nepotism in the forum, meaning if a member who has a good relation with a moderator (even if wrongly) complains, his complain is resolved keeping in view his long association. I will give u an example.

Someone put up a thread which meant something like:

Sana Bucha aur marvi memon ka keya bunay ga

I responded that:

Sana bucha ka bandobust main ker doon ga per pata nai us ko karelay pasand bhi hain ya nahin

This message was branded as immoral and deleted, because a person who had good relation with the moderator had asked for its deletion.

This is the state of the affairs of the moderators around here. Dont u think there should be a training session of the person who are or potential moderators.

I am not a shia - just so that you don't get any ideas before you make any biased comments and get worked up.

I don't want to speak for @EniGma90 but what I think he mean to say was that CJ sometime takes suo moto notice of little and trivial things and these massacres are committed against our citizens with regularity and he never called up anyone with a suo moto and asked them as to why can't this be stopped or what the administration is doing - its happening with regularity in the northern areas why can't some responsible authority be called to be asnwerable.

Before you go all ballistic and make another insensitive comment as you made in your post by invoking the word 'maatam' just think that you got worked up at killing at the Burmese muslims why not raise the same level of concern at these brutal and senseless killings.

I am sure you are going to come back with 'if you could have written this in our national language urdu or my mother tongue punjabi' - I am sure all in Spain must have learned to speak urdu or punjabi to converse with you ;-)

I agree with the premise that "discussion" rather than "debate" promotes non-sectarianism given that the people in the discussion are willing to understand the other person's religion and beliefs to educate themselves and they are not in it to promote their own faith by demeaning the other person's religion in a religious duel or showdown...

if that can be avoided, I believe the moderators should allow such threads, only if it promotes inter-faith harmony and social cohesiveness...but that's just my opinion

But, here's the reason why I took this great effort to respond: In Spain, people speak Spanish.

In case you need me to break this down further. I'll do it just for you: your post was in English.

Here's another fact that goes beyond your understanding just like most things: English is not the only language in the world, not even the UN (yes, you heard it here folks...UN is bilingual...French and English).

Assuming that you take pride in speaking English given that your forefathers were whipped around by the British...I am sure you couldn't bother caring to find out the most spoken language in the world is Mandarin...

After which comes...I'm about to say it...brace yourself...Urdu/Hindi...

Try demeaning the national language with which people associate pride and their very identity at a forum belonging to a different nation...like who?(hmm)...

how about...you guessed it...Iran!...

and yea, while you're at it, try criticizing the Speaker of the parliament in...Lebanon...let's see how welcoming it is there...?

You and I both know how you'll be treated there...and the population is equally divided...oh, the irony...
